so to waive annual fees, i can pump petrol at RM 30 each time? so that i can reach 60 times annually?

New Requirement for UOB Credit Cards Annual Fee Waiver.
Classic : Need to swipe total 60 times.

vox and uob one classic what difference? they help me to apply both vox and uob together, and the only benefit i can see is visa wave and use once per month to waive monthly fees?
*
QUOTE(MetalHeads @ Sep 18 2014, 09:07 AM)
Pump rm1 each for 60 time also can right?
*
the requirement for uob af waiver may not be valid anymore.
or at least it's not auto-waiver anymore, still need to call-in although you achieve 60 times (if not mistaken).

Ya.

So i just go to the counter & ask using smart $?

I never use it b4.  biggrin.gif
No fees.

I cancel it because GST will charge in Nov
*
you may try to use it at the bhp cashier.
but if not mistaken the minimum is rm20 per transaction.
so after deduct with your smart$ rm6.23, balance of rm13.77 will be charged to your cc.
you may ask whether they allow you to use exactly rm6.23.
so you don't have to incur additional transaction again to the card that you already want to cancel.

Now only I knew that why the rebate was not base on 5% of total petrol paid using UOB card, mine, sometime RM20+, sometime +RM8, sometime RM10+.
I thought they offer all petrol payment for 5% rebate, if this the case, I will have to use mbb2 card amex at weekend for petrol.

Seems UOB card is not so attractive now, but I only have uob one platinum and mbb2 card, what others card give better cash back?
*
yeah, since you have 2 cc now, use uob for the first 13 days of the month, then use mbb2visa/mc at caltex (for weekdays) and mbb2amex at any petrol station (for weekends). mbb2visa/mc has 3% cb at caltex (promotion end by end of oct'14).

ok thanks... i will have a lookout for their booth in malls... if you know of any road shows, kindly let me know
*
most probably due to the 900k allocation finished and you still used it to pump petrol.

which location you prefer for the citibank booth?

yeah, when they set the limit, they're already expecting incoming onslaught. Hiding behind T&Cs is to protect their a$$.

usually, consumer loses in the end. the only way we can win is NOT to use their products/services.

always need to come here and check for members report/update. :hehe:

*
no, citibank works differently. no allocation but you need to accumulate min rm50 of cb (rm1k of usage) only you can get the cb.

just found out One card Platinum needs to spend 36k a year to get annual fee waiver, is it real?????
*
no, it's not real. even if you achieve that 36k you still may not get the annual fee waiver. you still need to call in and ask for it.

Be careful that for Citibank CBP, the maximum rebate for petrol category is RM 30.
*
yeah, which means even if you are a person who maximise the petrol cb every month, you still need to wait at least 2 months before you get it.

i dont think that is 1% rebate for petrol, still 5%..
but once 900k rebate is given out, then it's 0%..
well.. im hoping for more uob users to cancel so that the 900k rebate will be slower to be given away... hehe..
*
for me, i don't care. i will just stop using it for petrol after 13th of the month. biggrin.gif

*
try to take out those petrol transactions done after 13th and check the 5% of that amount, is it rm20.58 cb?
