no, it means rm400 x 2% = rm8 maximum bhp smart$ per cc account per month.

for smart$ at bhp, if you already confirmed all these points:
1) you went to bhp (not other petrol stations)
2) they swipe your cc using uob terminal (not other bank's terminal)
3) you have not fully utilised your maximum rm8/month bhp smart$

then, the final reason would be it's just offline when you swipe your cc. it will update and reflect in your cc once it's online.

no, the smart$ really has the rm400 limit on it all the while since 2012.
only in the recent past few months when the promo of 5% smart$ was on-going, this limit was was temporarily not applicable. after the promo ended and the smart$ went back to 2%, the limit is back again.

yes, very worth to redeem one especially for the 599 points. i redeemed one already when the offer was up.

because the limit rm8 (rm400) started in 2012 and especially during 2013 when i regularly pumped more than rm400 per month with that card, my smart$ was always maintained at rm8 only.

i not sure the offer is until when.
actually i thought already ended until you brought this up again.
because i felt like i redeemed it very long ago already.
it's good for 599 points because 550 points equals rm5 bhp petrol.
so that show bag only cost around rm5.45 if you redeem with 599 points.
big enough for a pair of shoe or 2 bottles of 100plus 1.5 litre. the quality not bad.

that one after first week release, already no stock although the offer was up to a month.
then after few months they re-offered the pillow blanket again because of the overwhelmed response during the first release.

uob all the while like this. very light uob logo and name at the side of the chip. when i pass to swipe last time, many staffs in different merchant took some time to know the cc is from which bank. lol...

i don't see any new promotion for lazada at the moment.
i just only utilised the uob lazada code twice and saved rm50!

if you mean uob one card, the drawback is usually after middle of the month you won't get any 5% petrol rebates anymore as the rm900k allocation is finished by then...

ask her when she received that rm20 rebate from rm200 petrol? if it was before may 2014, it's true, because that time promo was 5%+5% but starting 1/5 it's back to 5%+2% already...

just call to ask for waiver. annual fee can be waived easily by calling to the cs...

for annual fee you can just call them to waive without giving reason. they will check your usage and waive it after few days. so you need to call again after few days and if they don't waive only you may threaten to cancel the cc.
