QUOTE(zaicon @ Sep 5 2013, 11:36 AM) Ya. Brother storm88 price is cheap. I even recommend people getting LoVo's from him as well. Ya, but we all can agree from your previous quote. "depends on luck" ANYWHO, I manage to get a hold of MSI-MY, and luckily,(and hopefully) a colleague of his, will be monitoring our thread for further clarification. |

i need to wait ram arrive first... im in Batu pahat now...
Edit: regarding RAM bye bye warranty "Answer MSI Intel Haswell device supports DDR3L memory. If you want to add memory on your 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5 Processor platform, please make sure the additional RAM is compatible with your device. MSI recommend customer to use DDR3L 1.35V, not DDR3 1.5V. Our laptops have best stability/support when running with DDR3L. (Warning: Unauthorized changes of non MSI parts will lose the global warranty. Please check detailed warranty info with your local dealers or following link.) http://www.msi.com/service/warranty/ " This post has been edited by Unseen83: Sep 5 2013, 12:29 PM |

QUOTE(MSI-NB @ Sep 5 2013, 04:38 PM) MSI officially do not recommend users to upgrade RAM/HDD/SSD by themselves may i know who is MSI authorize dealer on LYN ? alot saleman on here claim they are authorize dealer... lolzWe recommend users: -Upgrade RAM with our Authorized Dealers or Service Centre -Upgrade HDD/SSD at Service Centre FYI, Service Centre will diagnosis case by case whether users void the warranty or not. As for Warranty for MSI MY notebooks, MSI offers 2 years warranty: -First year Global Warranty -Second year Local Warranty. P/S: Don't worry all, MSI-NB is still around x why when i have BSOD MSI service center Batu Pahat wanted to charge me? Why MSI service center low yat plaza(2nd floor) say they do not provide upgrade service...?? x will upgrade in MSI service center +service charge price??? |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Sep 5 2013, 05:58 PM) That one is actually "insurance" masquerading as "extended warranty". MSI has nothing to do with it from 2nd year forwards IINM. hmmm thanx.. i had my suspicious they try milk every cash i have in my wallet at time... i reject their hard and repeatedly offer me to extend it... well i still fall for their overprice 8GB low voltage ram...RM250 lolIt's totally third party folks. Like Mobisure and the SenQ 5-year warranty thingy. I know for a fact sellers get a good cut from selling those "extended warranty" covers. |
