fast fast go queue and pump Ron97 to your kancil 1st!   laugh.gif

Cilaka, Ron97 for reech ppl naik 15 cent, Ron95 for poor ppl raise 20 cent..  mad.gif  vmad.gif
*
Then it makes even less sense.

The govt will save on subsidy money only if they reduce the subsidy and the world-market price is stable

if the price of petrol in the world-market goes up which indirectly increases the price of RON97 , then the govt did not gain anything from the increase of RON 95 to RM2.10 at all !

Just received my car today, the Blaupunkt New York 800 unit doesn't load the GPS, it's stuck at "Garmin" page. Any idea how to fix this? Reinstall the maps in the microSD card?

My experiences on R3 springs formthenpast few days but with additional/ combination of mods.

Started with:
1. Strut bar- no difference at all, not noticeable to be accurate sad.gif

2. Rear anti-roll bar- less roll but still scary during fast corners smile.gif

3. 17" wheels with 215/50/17- totally changed the characteristic of the handling, more confidence rclxm9.gif

4. R3 springs- marginal improvement but ride is slightly harder, even wife felt it too. Lowered less than an inch but frequently scrapping parking ramps rclxub.gif

QUOTE(howler @ Sep 4 2013, 08:38 PM)
just wondering about petrol prices ... RON 97 is RM2.70 per litre and govt said that there is no price control for "premium" fuel. RON 95 is now RM2.10 with a RM0.63 subsidy. So the real price of RON 95 is RM2.73 !! ...

So , how did our Finance minister do his maths until RON 97 is cheaper than RON 95 ?

Won't it be better if he use the subsidy of RM0.63 for RON 97 so that we pay RM2.07 for RON97 fuel ? Let RON95 be free-float

did the govt just make a multi-billon ringgit decision mistake and showed the whole world about it ....

This is the things I want to know most mad.gif
Why ron 97 no increase one? JB here many SG car keep filling it! mad.gif
And SGD 1 = RM 2.6 doh.gif

I'm using ocbc titanium, it practically give 5% rebate on a lot of things, not only petrol. The good part that is everyday. But there is a capped on the rebate, which is RM 50 per month.

Since we are at the petrol discussion, might I add that the chevron and shell tankers fill up at the same facility; chevron at lbt westports.

I held up a shell tanker by closing down one of the fueling lanes to do some civil repairs

I have all the same mods as you except for the anti-roll bar.

Strut bar give me a more sold and confidence handling on the steering wheel because you can feel the front has become more rigid.

Agree on the slightly harder ride after the R3 springs but for me I've only encounter twice of scrapping the front. It actually just slightly give about 1 inch drop if I'm not mistaken and that can actually clear a lot high bumps and steep ramps. Been running on it for 20k kms so far and only twice i've encounter scrapping and that also because I didn't realize the steep ramp and went a lil too fast..
