QUOTE(dares @ Sep 5 2013, 06:00 PM) You show my yours I'll show you mine sure. will try to find a dealer and test drive. thanks for the info bro. Request a test drive on a highway where you can go 100km/h or higher, then see if it's good enough. As for maintenance, depending on your luck there may be a few minor problems you might need to visit the SC about, such as drumbrake noise, rattling, headlamp masuk air etc. But once those are fix it's pretty much just pump petrol and go. Fast geh mou? |

QUOTE(jaylim94 @ Sep 5 2013, 09:25 PM) ride comfort is like marshmallow, passenger still can sleep soundly behind when I'm doing 140-160.take it to a corner, steering feels like marshmallow. Maybe I'm used to Proton's heavy steering. Overall, yeah, its a good car. Easy to park too. |

The EPS part for people who use to hydroPS, the feeling was like Talk about speed, you can actually find out City is more powerful than vios. 120kmh rpm is 2.5k. Cabin noise is good enough, driving around 110kmh you will get the feeling like 80kmh. After i drive City, why consider vios? |

EPS on City is better than EPS on CRV. the one in CRV keeps giving me some kind of unnatural feedback when doing small correction on straight road. or are both using same EPS? THe Honda City gearbox is very eager to shift to 5th gear. |

i test drove my fren's 3 days old honda city las 2 weeks.
since he let me test drive, so i drove around 50km+ along MRR2 throttle response is great. the pick up is quite instant too. love the acceleration and the throttle response. jz need to gradually step on the pedal to speed up the car. love the steering to but at the same time i feel like "turning no feedback from wheel at all" due to light turning. but when u exceed certain speed at highway, the steering wheel becomes slightly heavier but it is just nice for cruising. love it when need to do U-turn at traffic lights. can turn effortlessly. didnt test the cornering stability cz i jz wanna test cruising. i will love to drive that for highway cruising / long distance travelling. |

QUOTE(jaylim94 @ Sep 5 2013, 08:43 PM) Yep first time drive.....reviews ar...It was a spontaneous test drive so might miss out some points but here goes+ very utilitarian. Apart from the cupholders and doorbins, it even have a tray under the rear seat to stash stuffs + spacious cabin. Center armrest for rear seats! + Huge boot. + Personally a fan of the exterior. + Paddle shifters!! + good torque. I don't understand why people say it is underpowered, it's not bad at all. + Decent handling, but at the expense of ride comfort. I can't complain because my car is not much better in the comfort department. + Gear ratios seems to be designed for economical cruising than performance, I can cruise at 100km/h in 4th gear the RPM still under 3k and the ECO light came on + VSA, kudos Honda. - stock HU like from the early 2000's. The test drive unit came with a touchscreen HU + reverse camera from Honda which you can add, for a "measly" RM3k. - while cruising at 100km/h, I shift to S for manual mode, it immediately downshift to the 3rd gear, causing jerking due to engine braking. Twice I tried, twice also kena like this. - Short seats. Even the driver seat is only 2/3 the length of my thigh. - NVH somewhat short of expectation. It's OK, but when cruising at highways speeds it can become quite noisy. - spongy brakes at medium speeds. I dunno why.....at high speed it is adequate. I almost overshoot a junction because the car won't slow down quick enough. All in all, between this and Vios, I'd gladly take this car. |

If i buy City i definitely will get E+ spec and module bodykit City has more toy than vios anyway. |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 5 2013, 10:45 PM) B16 year 2007 sentra. dunno your city Sentral is a c segment iinm? some may classified it as B considering the size/pricing, and there's the sylphy. And even comparing the sentra against honda's c segment civic, the NVH is still better. Every FD2 i've been in has road roar/roof chatter (when heavy rain) like no other C segments. new civic greatly fixes this but damn that outlook lol. it's a toss up between Altis and sentra, with people generally favoring nissan. |
