You know what i did. close laptop and go bed, come back can play play, can't play go do other things. and now im still playing hapily, not to mention im finally doing my first Relic Reborn Quest, awesome hard mode area!

Things have gotten better. So i think we can stop the whining on this thread and get back to the topic of gaming. Spam the start button ull get in eventually. I lve been doing that since this whole thing started.

I login today @ 7pm+ in single attempt after my work without spamming numpad 0 for hours, does that consider better ?

the big problem before the patch was that we couldnt even get into the lobby. Everytime we tried we get kicked out of our game client. now we just get that servers are full and have to get in que. that's a pretty good improvement. now comes the matter of dealing with overcrowded servers.

yeap.. I just did that around 7.50ish.. after got back from work.. single attempt, mouse click, queue number 3, and get inside the game.. all less than 5mins

did 2 sastasha runs and newbie's almost got me (the tank) killed

Run 1#: 1 of the DPS decided to Leeroy Jenkins into one the mobs

Run 2#: another hero-type DPS member decided "my first time using Limit Break on a "trash mob"

I hate when DPS can't hold their guns. I notice that it's a lot harder to get and keep aggro when they attack first and run around like headless chicken. Yet I have no problem keeping aggro in satasha end boss and the minions, because we wiped once and dps learned not to attack before I shield-lob everything XD

Today the FFXIV service will be going down for maintenance to add new worlds to help support a larger number of players. And as previously occurred with the game’s original launch back in September 2010, Square Enix is granting players a little extra game time as compensation for the recent issues. Current players as will be granted an extra 7 days of game time as compensation for the recent issues. Additionally, players that register a game code before September 9, 2013, will also be granted the additional game time.


I have just registered a FF14 1.0 code and have only seen 30 days trial period. The 7 days extra trial period is missing.

Anyone has any idea on how to get hold of the extra 7 days?

playing in Hades, there's SEA people there. the JP people is okay - they follow the markings I drop on the monsters and act accordingly.

there's always one mofo who messes things up - gods, I totally hated one of the arcanist in my party - he drop DoTs on every single monster that I'm not hitting!!

what I meant about doing ur complaints in another complain thread is that, ur complain doesn't help. I know you're stress out and just wanna let out some steam.

however, ppl who follow this thread, read about it all da time, it's getting irritating. You think I dont get those log in/kick out errors? I do, but what can my complaint do? SE obviously knows this problem, they can only fix it with time, so raging does nothing to help the situation. it just demoralize people. If you really wanna play the game, chill and wait it out.

Some kept asking why, WHY server capacity so low per world. well, why would you need to know? even if you get the legitimate answer as to why it's design this way, you'll feel better? Maybe I played too many other games that encounter this kind of problem, I'm somehow immune to it and just wait.
