Thx! Judging from the photos and videos, it looks like the display quality is sitting in the middle of XZ and XZU. After seeing XZU I thought Sony has decided to move forward.. The viewing angle is somehow important for me, hahah, as I always leave my phone on my working desk and check the time or notifications from time to time, without picking up the phone. Before this I never thought its an issue, but when I jumped from Note 2 to XZ, it was a pain! All I see is the washout display until I pick it up and look at it straightly. I don't wear any watch, so I check time using phone, just imo.
office... i have a charging dock in office. i just slot my phone in the charging dock and turn on the clock mode
looks damn cool!!!
my colleague passby my desk also comment "wah... why ur phone look so lan si one..."
YAH its very cool!! I was looking to get the dock for XZ too but worried that my boss will terribly notice that
yeah... for phone especially with flaps, i really highly recommend to get the dock, place it in the most common place u'll be.
in fact i got so used to the dock, i now find it tedious to use cable to charge handphone. each time my wife ask me to help charge her iphone, i find it so mafan, have to grab the cable, make sure it's in the right position and plug it in... using dock was like just slide in the phone
interesting to see that, probably next generation note with 4gb ram. but i think smartphone dont need that high ram, see z1 2gb ram already so smooth.
ram usage depends on how many apps u run at the same time lor if u always multitask, as in what samsung advertise on their note series, then bigger ram is always better
but sometimes i also wonder... even desktop pc runs at quad core and usually 4gb ram... now samsung going to release 8 core and note3 already 3gb ram... it sounds insane at some point
How come Nokia Lumia camera seems all generate yellowish photo output. Damn yark! The reviewer said Nokia Lumia 1020 have a great color reproduction. I don't feel lo...
dunno what they mean about that.
but i like this comment of theirs
"There's also a strategic edge that the Xperia Z1 has over the Lumia 1020 - apps. Running on the world's most popular operating system, the Xperia Z1 gives you access to a rich library of apps, most of which are yet to be found on the Windows Phone ecosystem. Even though Windows Phone has caught up quite a bit over the past two years, app availability is still a concern and isn't as established as the Android or iOS ecosystem."
Hmm , quite true i guess. We'll see in the retail unit. Haha , well some people would still use the one that comes with the device itself. Nokia in-ear ones are quite good actually , quite deep bass . Only thing that it mostly doesn't support other devices.
Great news for Xperia Z owners , the Z1's speaker is a tonne better! But still the One's boomsound is quite a bit nicer.
yeah... htc one still sounds better with the stereo speaker. but i'll say the z1 is not bad at all... really not bad at all...
if compared to XZ, so far i think the speed, camera, and speaker are an upgrade with obvious difference. screen and battery, some reviews said it's slightly better. have to see more in depth review on these 2 areas.
That same channel does have a comparison of screens between the One and Z1 , he said it is very much better than the previous Z but slightly worst than the One.
yeah... i saw that too. in fact he commented that the screen is quite good and very impressed with it.
cos some other reviewer said is only slightly better. so, waiting for more review on this matter before i can say for sure.
