QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 9 2013, 11:37 AM) Update I agree. is it???But releasing flagships within 3-4 months - a lot company is doing now, include Sony & Samsung. as far as i can remember... Samsung true flagship model - Galaxy S series, release 1 per year (excluding those variations) Galaxy Note series (though diff segment as in the phablet segment) - release 1 per year Sony tends to release 2 flagship models per year 2012 - Xperia S & Xperia TX 2013 - Xperia Z & Xperia Z1, new addition on the phablet segment XZU HTC... as i know 1 true flagship per year 2012 - HTC One X 2013 - HTC One, new addition to phablet segment HTC One Max though HTC are know to release refreshed version of their flagship as in HTC One X+ |

Even Samsung also only release one. There is Note but it is a different category. Most who uses a S3 only looks forward for S4 and Note 2 looks forward for Note 3. But, let's not forget that Sony has been releasing outdated procs for their flagship until the Z1. So to be honest Z1 is the true flagship of the year. Flagships means nothing if it is not comparable with the rest.

I have a feeling Z1 is released to address all the issues faced in Z (supposingly an improved version of Z, like how HTC refreshed their Butterfly to Butterfly S and so on)
The real deal, will not be available until next year |
