Thanks for the feedback. I'll just take it easy then and only buy if the prices are vastly different from here smile.gif

too many influx of china tourist. and also alot of msian shop for Lego there. Sellers are not dumb. If alot of many demand, eventually they will realise they dont need to sell it cheaper. This is prob with independent shops/sellers

so have fun at HK, dont spend all the time shopping for bricks.

So I got a refund for my lost parcel through Paypal. But I noticed there's a fee charged by Paypal. doh.gif
Is this normal?

If I send a payment to someone else, will they charge me too?

i also tried searching lego in department store around my hotel in namba, the only department store i found with most lego is BIC camera, the price there also abit cheaper compare to clickbrick store but they have less selection, (cmf s11 selling 250 yen in bic camera and 290yen in clickbrick store, 60026 selling 9200yen in bic camera and 9990yen in clickbrick store)

no pic in bic camera as most of the sets they have also available in clickbrick, only found few sets in japanese not sure is it available to japan only

finally, show off for my little haul from the clickbrick store in rinku premium outlet tongue.gif initially want to buy 42009 but they don't have such big carton box, so i have to get other smaller set, while most of the set in my wish list i already got so it is little bit hard to make decision biggrin.gif

about 4.7%, doesn't say why there was this fee.

Technically it's not a direct refund since it has passed the 60 days refund time frame. Seller send back the original sale amount to me, then Paypal minus another 4.7% from it sweat.gif

it is normal as paypal charge transaction fee for money transfer, if it is refund by paypal directly, it wont have any charges

Maybe seller refunded what he got paid, which was your paid sum less 4.7%.

Anyway, you should actually lose a bit on the exchange rate as well... But then since MYR is on downtrend in the past 2 mths, you prob made some money from the rates.. tongue.gif

But whatever it is, take it as a consolation at least you got your money back. Uncooperative sellers are a headache...
