Thanks for the reply..
I've tested Streamyx 2Mbps is quite consistent, it's just that most of the times, need to refresh router to get other IP for better speed.
I guess I have no choice but stuck with Streamyx sad.gif

FIZ 1Mbps for youtube video streaming, I don't think it smooth. For 360p resolution may be can....
Try do speed test on your streamyx line occasionally to see it consistently can get 2mbps?

Sometime the slow may due to international routing... I did faced this problem, where international site like China and US sluggish, but local like TheStar and Lowyat very smooth.

i want to share my experience of yes fiz. speed and coverage is not bad. you get a constant 90% of the speed for a fraction of streamyx price. but BEWARE!

yesterday, suddenly my white zoom could not connect to network. no signal detected. so i told myself no problem, still under warranty. rma and buy a spare zoom.

so today, i went to the agent and was told my zoom had to be rmaed and need about a week to repair/check. fine! i want to buy a new zoom. sorry. you cannot. you have to subscribe a new plan. you cannot just buy a new zoom. period....

so now i have to fall back to my trusty old maxis bb.

fiz plan is contracted to 24 months, but zoom warranty is 1 year. so what happen if your zoom spoil after one year. need to subscribe a new plan and continue to pay existing plan for 12 months without able to use?

no wonder a few forummers in this thread cautioned us to being YES subscribers. a monster that is.

so beware any future Yes Fiz subcriber.

YOU ARE BEING WARNED.

tq for reading.

Actually u can buy it. Already ask thundermatch. Cost for replacement is Rm400. But u have to buy from yes. If u go to reseller they will ask u subscribe new one bcoz they dont have with them. And why the agent need to keep stock for zoom. They will just lost money. People rarely change for that. Agent only keep stock that come with subscribe/plan.
