Not sure about streamyx.... but unifi jumbo lite auto changed to aneka plus according to unifi thread posts.

it's fine on my android7 tablet.

could be some cockup with ios.

if new contract, u get a copy by email.
best to switch on the box see what u have now.
if out of warranty (1st yr of last contract only).. u hv to pay to change it... plus service call fee, i think.
most people dun change unless u renew total unifi contract.. if kaput, u get new one foc.

yr offer is correct, current... +rm20 to go 50->100mbps.
future offers... who knows.
i think yr offer is w/o new contract, so nothing to lose.

the chinese channels are poor, as always... no new stuff, all old stuff.
korean - there are only - tvn hd (lifestyle show) and tvn movies hd - this one is not bad, movies are quite new.
then there is fox movies - movies are a mix of old and fairly new, like 1-2 years old.
fox tv channels are up to date - u get latest walking dead and others.
note... u get all of the above with ULTIMATE pakc, which is valued at rm60, so u wil be asked to top up +rm30.
varnam, aneka or ruby (VAR) valued at rm30 each.
tvn hd, tvn movies, fox tv (no movies) and sports channels are in any of the VAR.

Cant help.. dunno if u can play old episodes for those channels by vod... i think cannot.

As for price... if u can get same deal for less money, sure u take it.

Just be mindful of penalties for termination.

And if u can upgrade again soon or need to wait for next opportunity.

Do consider.

From experience, contract or not, some get offer, some dont.

There r people w/o contract, no offer... even when they ask, get rejected.

Tm unifi work in strange ways.

Yes, it does happen, not often for me, tolerable.

Last 1 hr, been watching c.games, live5, live6... one disturbance, then no more.

those ones u mentioned... they r NOT hd. 480p at best.
i hope tm will bounce back on these channels after c'm games.

on another note, i hv ben testing unifi playtv for last 2 days.
on my android box, the hd ones come out ok; non-hd... not so good.
but i hv to say there has been improvement compared to a year ago or so.
overall, the video quality of unifi playtv is about the same as astrogo now.

what do u hv now?


the complete one is ULTIMATE.

with ultimate, u do not need others since other packages are all inside ultimate.

a long known issue.
casting from handheld device to tv also does not work.
but many android boxes work fine with the playtv app.

what happened?

if u had complained and quite sure there is a problem, they shud find and fix the problem, no charge to u.

but if u r not sure, u can always tell them not to come and risk the rm53 charge.

i think unifi tv "guarantees" the stb to work well but not devices for playtv.

note there are many devices that don't work with playtv.

just like many devices don't work with astrogo.

that is usually due to the device firmware incompatibility with the app.

i think someone posted some news about this some weeks ago...

jumbo lite is the "odd" one... the migration will take place over a few months until july or something.

they need to contact users one by one to ascertain.

do u confirm u were able to cancel ruby, keep ultimate and save some money?

so far, nobody's been able to save the rm30 by canceling ruby or ruby plus.

it is cancelled by default - becos ultimate has everything ruby or varnam or aneka has.

VAR becomes moot if u hv ultimate.


as for the accounting documentation...

actually someone reported in unifi thread it will be an academic exercise to "cancel".

u may see a rm30 deduction by "canceling" but u will lose rm30 in the total discount at the same time.

result = 0.

the video should not stutter like that.

slight n infrequent stutters do happen.

but not all the time for many channels.

10, 30, 50, 100 mbps... shud b no diff - that's my experience.
