Diff area diff outcome.. Coz mobile data its still depend on coverage and signal. Take note, uncle benny shared he is only turned on data and surfing. No gps, no auto sync and turned on stamina mode.. For those unable achieve same outcome, just don't worry..

If your area low signal for mobile data, phone will consume more battery..

E.g. I'm worked at aeon mall, I can get 3 hours sot in total 10-14 hours.. Low signal reception.
But if I'm use in my home, I can get 4 hours+ sot in total of 10-14 hours..

*my settings is turned on gps, data, auto sync all the time without turn on stamina mode.

**im using xperia zl. I'm just sharing it to prevent ppl complaints bad result of battery life.. Anyway, for average, people who are working or studying are rarely turned on their phone more than 3 hours in daily time. So don't worry for your battery life, shoulda enough for your whole day usage.

I have consistently achieved minimum 6 hours SOT with following : 3G on 24/7, stamina mode on, bluetooth and GPS off, autosync on. And these are about 80% on internet stuffs ( browsing, email, facebook, tweeter, various RSS newsfeeds), 1 hour+ using gyrometer/accelerometer for pedometer n others are whatsapp, call-sms, ebook .
If I switch to wifi, I can get another 1-1.5 hour SOT
I'd say this phone has quite good battery life
For working people, I'd say you wont be using your phones 6-7 hours on a 8-10 working hours day - so absolutely no worries about battery life. Even with 4-5 hours SOT is sufficiently good enough
Put the phone on stamina mode if you wont be using it - it really help to conserve battery. Whitelist those apps eg (for me is whatsapp and messenger) if you do not want stamina mode to interfere

This guy review some of the bad points of this phone , which I believe all of us having it already knows
In summary :

1. It could be too big especially those without deep pockets . Some might feel ridiculous using it as a phone. But than these days as he had said many users uses their phones more as a mini tablet rather than a phone for calling. So if you use the phone to talk a lot, you might not like it

2. Missing LED flash. This again depend on user. I rarely use the flash to take photos , so is not an issue for me. I used the LED mostly as a torchlight and now uses a Torchlight app ( using the display)

3. He wish it had a bigger battery though he said the battery life is on par with Note 2 ( I fully agree with him on this comparison). He also hope the battery can be removable !!

4. He mentioned very briefly about the poor writing features which I agree; is only a half baked and can never match Note 2 S pen. More of a gimmick I'd say. My opinion - put on a Screen Protector and you can forget about using a ballpen as a stylus ; with finger and pencil is still perfectly OK

5. He didn't mentioned this but there is another weak point : soft phone speakers due to the extra membrane on speakers to ensure is waterproof. Some might have problem hearing ringtones/notifications in noisy environment. the default include tones I find are all poor and I use my own louder ringtones instead. Some users here even complain the earpiece is too soft to be heard properly - I find mine is acceptable.
