stamina mode and the kernel 3.4 really contribute a lot

wan to see the effect of the glass, not sp doh.gif

afaik new sony phone comes with preinstalled screen protector which is the so called scratch resistant glass

u wont notice it, even most of the seller out thr, so do look closer to the very edge of ur phone, of u have install sp on ur xzu , now u probably have 2 layer of sp

i once remove the on on my xperia play, u will fell the touch feeling is so geli one

and so far this is all the great Battery life of stock rom, looking forward to the custom one, u should have 1-1.5 hours more battery life with the right kernel tweak

I have consistently achieved minimum 6 hours SOT with following : 3G on 24/7, stamina mode on, bluetooth and GPS off, autosync on. And these are about 80% on internet stuffs ( browsing, email, facebook, tweeter, various RSS newsfeeds), 1 hour+ using gyrometer/accelerometer for pedometer n others are whatsapp, call-sms, ebook .
If I switch to wifi, I can get another 1-1.5 hour SOT
I'd say this phone has quite good battery life
For working people, I'd say you wont be using your phones 6-7 hours on a 8-10 working hours day - so absolutely no worries about battery life. Even with 4-5 hours SOT is sufficiently good enough
Put the phone on stamina mode if you wont be using it - it really help to conserve battery. Whitelist those apps eg (for me is whatsapp and messenger) if you do not want stamina mode to interfere

Uncle Benny, did the stamina mode effect phone performance for daily usage? like sometime browse heavy website, many apps open in background etc. Not gaming.

I don't think so. I am very happy with it S I don't play games.
Stamina mode kick in only when display is off

loving this app, but it is causing a lot of partial wakelock as reported in BBS. sad.gif guess we can't have the best of both worlds.

weird phenomenon just now. i was at less than 40% using the phone. once entered my car i plugged in my car charger, it shot up to green indication light with 100% battery. then within a few secs it dropped to 99% again.

on the latest firmware. might worth the note if anyone encounter this. or it's just a glitch.
