Read my words again. It is seamlessly smooth as pencil. But you ask vs Note2 n that is definitely not seamlessly smooth. I have said before that even with pencil cannot ever match Note2. Perhaps you got confused with seamlessly in its contents thinking is generally be or I did not make myself clear. I still say is seamlessly smooth as pencil but now no longer with SP

What bugs are you so concerned about ??
Firmware updates will come often from Sony /...I dont think you will ever get a 100% bugless firmware from Sony or any other manufacturer ( Google included )

No such issues at all on my set since first
Looks more like defective sets not bugs to me

Have been on latest firmware 475 past 5 hours n I don't see any excessive battery drain. It is at best similar as before

Use Sony Companion in PC to update firmware.
First time I fail to update it 3 times in a row. The update discontinued at final stage. Phone screen went blank n cannot be switch on unless you pressed vol up+ power button simultaneously. Fourth attempt was only successful.

Some XDA user even reported improved battery life. I can only comment this after at least a full day usage. Different people uses their phone differently n each user experience differs. Just update it n judge yourself. You can always use flashtool to flash back 471 if you don't like the update.

I estimate the magnetic dock will take about 3 hours to charge phone full from say about 5%. I am using my ipad USB charger. On AC it'd take about 2.25 hours.
I have also bought the magnetic charger cable separately from d box n yet to receive it, probably next week. This cable I will use in the car.

Geez! Scared? Come on : it is only a phone!!

If he is so worried can always get a case for it. What is there to be scared of???

I took off the top phone holder piece and bottom of the magnetic dock and now has just the cable alone. The cable is tucked inside the dock

Is only S$ 125 in Spore ( RM 312) based on HWZ users. RM600 is an overkill price

Thanks for the headsup. I used his rooting kit too in the Tablet Xperia Z and ex XZ

Based on my usage this phone I can easily achieved 6-7 hours SOT vs Vega 4.5-5.5 hours. STANDBY hours is also much longer due to the stamina mode which is amazingly good n did perform as expected

Normal human eyes unable to distinguish above 300ppi unless yours is super microscopic vision. Don't even bother with such numbers. Why don't you go n compare yourself n tell me you can see any significant difference just by looking it in normal viewing. Color saturation n contrasts the XZU beats Vega flat ; no fight at all.
No mini windows in XZU.
Camera shot quality not much different but XZU lacks flash. If I want to nitpick I would say XZU is better even though lower MPX. Anyway i am no camera shot expert.

Yes I took out the top holder piece n bottom piece to have just the cable out from the dock. Easy job using a flat screwdriver n easily fix it back in if I want to. No damage done at all to dock.

Yes. More convenient than using dock. But some user prefer dock. Now I can bring cable to the car if I need to.

Yes. Just take it out. The connectors are magnetic but longer than MacBook charger. You can see it in the second photo

For me, Only weakness of XZU is its poor speaker volume due to extra membrane to have it waterproof. You need to find your own louder Ringtone n notification. The default ones are all horribly lousy n you can hardly hear in noisy environment. The other is forget about the writing ability - is half baked n only a gimmick
For some it's bigger size is a deterrent too.
Other than these is a big upgrade from Vega6.

Amazing beautiful display. I would say is the best I have seen to date, better than my previous htc1 n S4
Don't get discouraged by just some negative comments. I have view some of these so called display issues n I conclude is mainly hardware problem. Again buying gadgets is sometimes based on your luck. I would say there are much more positive comments about display vs negative ones
