You ned to test many other types. Not ALL ballpen will work. I tested 14 of mine and manage to find one that works well as the pencil. But if you put on a Screen Protector, using the pen is hopeless and is still better to use a pencil instead

Read properly - it said with 2 adapters NOT 2 cables - lah ! It does comes with 2 adapters one for case ( if you have a appropriate one). The cable is tucked inside the dock and can be taken out separately. I have shown previously I have taken out just the cable

My magnetic cable can charge the phone while is inside the Melko flipcase but not when put in the Niilkin backcase.
I had never like the dock and will never cut further my cases to fit it in

For those who asked me about my melko flipcase - this is a photo to show the magnetic cable charging it with case on. No need to cut case for it. Is a perfect fit

Did a slight cut off the edges of my Niilkin hard back case n now the magnetic charger clip in nicely.

Just clip the screws back unless you have unintentionally damaged it while lifting up the back. I only lift one corner n the screw snap back easily. The other screw was intact.

I understand if you use Windows 8 you might faced such issues. One user whatsapp me that n managed to update when he switched to Windows 7.

I am using windows XP n has never any problems using fastboot n adb commands. Intact windows XP is still the best if you want to handle adb commands manually.
I have been using windows XP fastboot/adb commands since the very first nexus till up to galaxy nexus, nexus4 n all the nexus7, htc n sony phones
Just need to install android sdk will do it

I suggest you do a factory reset. If you still faced such issues, send in to service center as probably is motherboard problem

Your phone must not be rooted to update firmware OTA through PC Companion

You can always use flashtool to flash the 510 ftf file ( now already available to download). No need root to do this

Just wait few more days , maybe a week for it to hit Msia. Or use flashtool n flash manually yourself the ftf file . Check several posts above on this

Besides me there are also few others who had taken out the cable from the dock. Is an easy task to take it out. And you can easily put it back if you need to use as a dock

The most obvious improvement in 510 firmware is the display. It is indeed an amazing improvement. I did not faced any SOD as reported by h11g. Yes the issue of screen temporary looks like hang momentarily is there after a restart. Minor issue as rarely restart phone.

Yes. My LG pro still not received yet. Unit came with faulty sim module n replacement expected in this week.
