With this platform fee thingy...u gonna invest bond funds with bank?

Say, OSK-UOB Emerging Markets Bond if u invest thru bank, the SC is 2.5%
0.2% platform fee p.a. with FSM

2.5% / 0.2% = 12.5 years

Worth to stay with FSM? hmm.gif

Btw, this platform fee charging gonna mess up my worksheet doh.gif
Have to:
(1) Insert a withdrawal entry under CMF
(2) Insert an expenses entry under the bond fund
*
AmDynamic only charges exit fee 1%, which is the same with FSM and bank. So nothing to do with platform fee.

Remember that I wanted to move all my bond to FSM, but they want me to pay up the RM50 'processing fee' mad.gif

Funny that you mentioned, I went to check.

Obviously no doh.gif My bond portfolio is 60% at the moment, and I have only one bond fund.

MANULIFE BOND PLUS FUND is one bond fund I'm looking at.

If I want to increase my bond exposure, I'll consider this. Up to 30% foreign bondholding and it's not shy to make full use of it.

All dividend reinvestment will not result in an increase in the cost of investment. The rationale for doing so is that dividend is not an injection of new monies by the investors as such it should not increase the cost of investment.

I want something.. what if u invest very long already (like 3 years), and you got a column which keep track the money u would have earn if u put in 3% fd instead of investing.

and one day the fd return is reaching ur current investment return (money, not directly referring to %), would u guess withdraw it?

because if u look at it, distribution payss out, nav drop, u get more units. and looking at the market now, % sure drop after distributions. and it like reach all time high dy (bond fund max also give u 8%). and this 8% will reach a ceiling where fd return will pay u more. if u plot graph (fd money and investment money), it meet dy.

u will sell everything and put in FD?

What kind of exemption?

You can get tax relief if you invest in PRS even though through FSM.
