Lol nobody replied me. Anyone here that flashed new 4.3 ROMs from previous rom? Did u use tibu to backup from previous ROM and restore to new android 4.3 ROM? Any issues?
*
me...
no...
because i did a dirty flash
no issues with tbpro after the update to TBP for 4.3

QUOTE(joytest @ Aug 9 2013, 07:30 PM)
Normally you can, however 4.3 has some changes under the hood, so probably alexng2208 and antt00 can advise you here.

Just ensure you don't restore system apps, and I would suggest manually installing your apps, then perform a Tibu data only restore.
*
4.3 changes the storage dunno what... therefore breaking TBP...
if you restore, just restore
1. sms / mms
2. bluetooth paired saved devices (important to me)
3. wifi access points

Basically we have to wait until Titanium Backup to fix this issue so they support 4.3 without issue? wink.gif

So technically if I want to move to 4.3 ROM I have to lose all my apps?

Well no you don't "lose" your apps since your app records are still in the Play Store. You can try performing the manual install or a bulk install via the Google setting then restore your data from Tibu for each app.

Sadly I'm still on 4.1.2 laugh.gif

The good doctor on XDA has another good compilation......

AnyMod - Install Any of many favorite mods with Aroma installer.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394439

This is same as MultiMod and after getting many request from user, I have made it possible to select now only desired Mods with aroma installer.

Requirement :
It should work on N7100 4.1.2 TW based ROM, there are two categories, 1. General MOD, which can be used by any latest 4.1.2 tw based ROM 2. ROM dependent Mod. Which you have to select from ROM you are having. Right now MF2 and MG1 odexed/deodexed tested.

Hi all sifus
I am a gn2 user with os 4.1.2
Sim card faulty and is unable to detect maxis signal.
Changed the sim card and it can detect the signal.

Back then before I change the sim card, my note 2 can hook to q signal very fast ie from basement to my condo.
After changing sim card it takes forever for my note 2 to find the signal after exiting from basement car park.
Even though it have no logo of G, E, or H I can still use the voice cause the signal bar is full. But data is a no go. And my friend cant even call me when I am on full bar.......not until I turn on flight mode on and off then onlu the phone will come back with the H or E logo.
Advise please. ..my phone koyak or a problem sim?

Anyone here knows how does our Note 2's battery life performed compared to other giants like XZU and OGP?

Xzu seems to have variance from 3hr to 7hr depending on how much stuff you turn off. This indicates it shd be about the same as note2. OGP I have no idea but I thought u said it sucked?

The one I had was the Nexus 4's relative, the LG OG and yes it sucked.

A few months ago, I was here expressing my doubt on how much better it is as compared to our Note 2, many said it wasn't worth it as it lacked dev support, stylus yada³

Where xzu is concerned the stylus use simply sux. Palm rejection is completely absent. Even if u use the sketch app to scribble it cannot even take a hand scribble properly.

tested it yesterday using the display unit..i must say i am not impressed as a simple alphabetical sketch is a failure..need to rewrite a couple of time before it can recognize half of what i am trying to write..but maybe its the pencil..cant say for sure

It detects any conducting item as a "stylus".

I tested with a blunt and sharp pencil. Sucked all the same. Uncle benny has also confirmed its crappy stylus use, and the xzu ts also admits the same. Stylus use is only one notch above yr normal capacitive screen.

Hmmm... In other words a marketing gimmick that failed to operate properly and succeeded to rake in sales?

I believe that a lot of people do not make fulluseofthe Stylus

So as a media consumption ddevice it is fantastic butthen makes it simply a huge phablet.
This post written with my stylus.
