ok today ive done some stupid sh|t...

1. luckily backup all images and important files.
2. boot TWRP and format everything n i mean EVERYTHING
3. the phone wont boot...connect usb it is not recognized...i'm so doomed

so being panic i almost gave up hope until i finally find these steps...its quite a mess n if someone knows proper ways tto do it please correct me ya...

1a. Install the driver for ur GNex using this Universal Naked Driver 0.72 < here >
1b. basically just download > extract the file > boot ur phone into bootloader > connect usb > windows driver manager > manual install driver
1c. once ur gnex is recognized by ur pc then ure good to go to next step

2a. Install Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit < here >
2b. there's an option under Back to Stock > Flash Stock + Unroot...under the Current Status i choose Soft-Bricked/Bootloop
2c. Another popup windows should come out and here you can choose to flash a downloaded Google Stock Images. There's also a link to it but to make it easier i attach the link < here . Be sure of your version and once you have downloaded the image file, you can select it at the Window Browser.
2d. Please let it run until completed and ure good to go...now your phone can finally boot up with stock rom...feel free to abuse it more lol

PS: sorry if someone have posted about this...i've just discovered all these accidentally today...kudos to all web and link owners...

Can you boot into TWRP after you do that? If yes then OTG will save you

Everyone still using GNex as main driver? That's why no 1 dare to try 4.4 yet.

OmniRom. yes, I used gravitybox to set statusbar and navibar for transparent and set the icons to white.
both transparent bar function will not appear in 4.3 ROM, it's draw by 4.4 ROM. I found this answer from Nova G+.

although managed to get transparent via gravitybox, but actual UI in Kitkat is translucent which is nicer, not 100% fully transparent

Can play few seconds then force closed
Cannot play anymore

But that type of transparent is not with smooth gradient from transparent to black. Any mods for that?

Guys, need some enlightenment on this. Currently I'm at TWRP 2.4.0.0 and wants to update to 2.6.3.1 I installed fastboot and adb (through Android SDK Tools) but still no luck. I can see my device when I type fastboot devices in cmd but couldnt see my device when I typed adb devices. Drivers are installed too. Any insight?

I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Just USB Port to be replaced? Or really like what the bangla/pakistanese/whatever said, it's a problem with charging IC. If it's just USB Port, I can buy and replace myself since I managed to open up my phone once (just screw driver + finger nailsssss) but the problem is... if it wasn't just the USB Port, if it's really the charging IC, then I don't have the tool to fix it. Fixing charging IC probably means desoldering the faulty or damaged one and resolder another one back on which is almost impossible with normal soldering tool and my rubbish-ish soldering skill.

Buy ext charger then disconnect my USB Port from the motherboard? Not sure whether it will work

Erm... Ya... But I read some reviews from those who fixed their phone at lowyat, they actually know what they're doing. I asked around chinese shop some of them don't even know Galaxy Nexus When I show them my phone, they don't even know what to fix. Only that bangla/pakistanese/whatever said something that makes more sense

Maybe I should try my luck with a new USB Port first. Should I fix my power button too?
