only the previous generation one has japan cbu er6. very few are in the market since it's almost 10k more expensive than thai ckd

my er6n is bone stock with servicing done by kawasaki authorised green reseller (note: not service center)

servicing done based on months (6 monthly) as i can only rack up so few km's. in between july and december, i managed to clock less than 500 km only...

My friend ride 2012 versys 650.

The er6n red color that got problem owned by one kota tinggi rider i met in pasir gudang... Red color i think is 2013 model. He is also not a high revving rider...

I have another er6n 2012 rider who weight 100kg and like to high revv and race with me over 230 kmh... But not yet has any problem... Go figure...

if you are in sarawak, i can recommend one

if not, get it from welly or somewhere. their prices are good, even w/o the so-called gift vouchers

but beware on the insurance part. sometimes to lower the OTR prices, the shop sells you 3rd party insurance (which is just rm 200+) if compared to 1st party insurance (rm 1,000+)


or sometimes the sum insured is very low, and when you get into an accident and want to proceed with claims, then all the problems will surface out

yes, you are correct. red color is the facelifted 6n. the 2013 version. it comes with flat black mud guard & bikini fairings

mine is the first batch (manufactured oct 2011) that came out from the factory. refused to pay some premium to be one of the first to own it , so i finally get my unit in march, after 3 months of waiting impatiently

I think as a rider we have to be careful and need to learn our machine. I'm not a mechanically hands on person but tried to learn bit and pieces of my chicken brand bike...

After a year of commuting kl-jb every weeks, last sunday, my bike broke down 2km after seremban rnr heading south. The bike engine suddenly high revving as if in neutral gear.

Found out the front sproket lock nut loose and dropped. I've had my chain changed a month before. Obviously the mechanic who did the chain did not lock the nut tight enough.

Luckily for me, 4 rescuer ( fb bike group) came to the rescue..

My friend versys, about 25k km... The red er6n, less than 10k km

The main reason I didn't get an ER6 was because of the valve breaking
