Also, have you done your first service yet?

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 27 2013, 07:45 PM) Really eh? apparently, it only applies to thai made honda cbr500 people say honda have qc concerns, thus the need to do valve clearance check / inspection after the 1st 1,000km and it's not free, nor cheap either

what if later engine got problem, check service history never do valve check according to manual. who's going to pay for the damage? bike shop can say whatever they want to reduce man hours & reduce costs but if anything happen, they won't be responsible for that because there's no written black & white for what they have said. unless you record a video and keep it as a proof later on.
because in the end, it's the honda engineer that builds the engine, not the shop owner or the so called expert mechanics.

Just get it last weekend, so far the ride is very smooth, easy to handle and the braking system very good for me. I thought it's very heavy but not that heavy. For beginner rider like me is recommended bike QUOTE(lucifah @ Nov 27 2013, 06:23 PM) 1st svc is to check valve clearance... I have that concern too.
