As for the MT09, If its 71K OTR then is so not worth it. I dont think Yamaha will price it so low as 41 - 45K as its not even CKD.

Okay, there's something that has been bothering me about the negative comments on the Z8.

Yes, compare it with other naked bikes in it's category, she's quite porky. But, the weight actually helps with it absorbing imperfections in the road as well as make her stable while on the go. I have yet to experience any headshakes while riding.

Z8 can't corner properly? No, you just suck at it. She can keep up with 600 & 1000cc sportbikes in the twisties, no problem. The tighter the corner, the better. All you need is practice, practice and practice.

I'm a fat guy. Combine it with the bikes weight, it easily becomes almost 400kg. Yet, I don't have any issues keeping up with the kapchais in traffic. I can't squeeze through some very tight spaces but most of the time it's fine. Learn counter steering. Once you get used to it, you're good to go. Helps with cornering in the twisties as well.

The only downside if you even consider it one, is that it's lacking wind protection, even with a windscreen installed. But that's the nature of a naked bike. The lack of fairing makes long distance high speed cruising become very, very tiresome. And I'm talking about speeds in excess of 200. The sweet spot for cruising is about 150. Anything faster than that and it will take a toll on you. If you can't handle going up to 150, you need to built up your upper body strength. Seriously.

Hey guys, need some advice.

I'm planning to get a bike but i just cant make my decision.

I can ride a superbike but i'm still a beginner.

I'm actually planned to get a Z800 because it looks cool, but i've tested rided it , it doesnt give me the good feeling. I feels like the bike controls me rather than i control it.

Then i visited Ducati, i tested the monster 796, well i could feel awesome-ness. very easy handling compare to z800.

I can get a z800 at cheaper price 52k OTR compare with Monster 796 67k OTR.

YOu guys have any advice comparing these 2 bikes?
