It's recommended by Kawasaki sweat.gif

A friend told me it'll take some time for the oil to 'stick' to the components/engine and the sound should be just temporary until the oil 'sticks'.

Hi can i make small survey..let's be honest

Why you choose inline 4 instead of Parallel-twin and V-twin

a) Performance
b) Sound
c) Response
d) Fuel Efficiency
etc...

TQ

where's triple?

back to q's... just for the sound...

QUOTE(Hades76 @ Mar 31 2014, 01:46 PM)
My bad on the CB650 as there is a R variant as well.

As for the MT09, If its 71K OTR then is so not worth it. I dont think Yamaha will price it so low as 41 - 45K as its not even CKD.
*
yeap, might as well get Triumph Speed Triple R / MV Brutale / Benelli TNT 899..

New CBR250 looks good.. if you have the cash, go straight for CBR650F, at least a proper inline-4 beginners bike. wait for the official launch tomorrow.

All otai-otais, can some of you guide me which superbike for beginner is good?

have any motorcycle riding experience before this?
you can start from 150cc to 650cc, depends on your experience and budget.

and the term superbikes is not beginner.. it should be sportbike for beginner.

QUOTE(DeFaeco @ Sep 23 2014, 11:15 AM)
Okay, there's something that has been bothering me about the negative comments on the Z8.

Yes, compare it with other naked bikes in it's category, she's quite porky. But, the weight actually helps with it absorbing imperfections in the road as well as make her stable while on the go. I have yet to experience any headshakes while riding.

Z8 can't corner properly? No, you just suck at it. She can keep up with 600 & 1000cc sportbikes in the twisties, no problem. The tighter the corner, the better. All you need is practice, practice and practice.

I'm a fat guy. Combine it with the bikes weight, it easily becomes almost 400kg. Yet, I don't have any issues keeping up with the kapchais in traffic. I can't squeeze through some very tight spaces but most of the time it's fine. Learn counter steering. Once you get used to it, you're good to go. Helps with cornering in the twisties as well.

The only downside if you even consider it one, is that it's lacking wind protection, even with a windscreen installed. But that's the nature of a naked bike. The lack of fairing makes long distance high speed cruising become very, very tiresome. And I'm talking about speeds in excess of 200. The sweet spot for cruising is about 150. Anything faster than that and it will take a toll on you. If you can't handle going up to 150, you need to built up your upper body strength. Seriously.

Hey guys, need some advice.

I'm planning to get a bike but i just cant make my decision.

I can ride a superbike but i'm still a beginner.

I'm actually planned to get a Z800 because it looks cool, but i've tested rided it , it doesnt give me the good feeling. I feels like the bike controls me rather than i control it.

Then i visited Ducati, i tested the monster 796, well i could feel awesome-ness. very easy handling compare to z800.

I can get a z800 at cheaper price 52k OTR compare with Monster 796 67k OTR.

YOu guys have any advice comparing these 2 bikes?

One of the reason is weight n size..
U have few more options in between.

Yamaha MT-09 or Triumph Speed Triple. Both triple cylinder.. Great engine tho.. The character is different than 4 inline.. And the sound of triple is addictive.
Benelli TNT 899, have that mean look as z8, triple cylinder as well like the two above. (I still prefer triple over 4 inline)
Suzuki GSX 750, new comer. It looks nice.. Havent tried it yet but should be fun to ride.
Yamaha XJ6 and Honda CB/R650. Entry level 4 inline.

Japs are easier to run and maintain while italians, theyre sexy but a bit expensive to maintain.. Desmo service for duc's will cost you in between rm600-2000.

I was once in your shoes. Between italian and japs, Monster 795 or mt-09, im happy with my choice. She's like a drug and a poison to people around. MT-09 dark side of japan, MT stands for master of torque, and boy oh boy.. The power she delivers will make you smile. The sound of crossplane triple with akra, u should listen to it.. im sure u will get poisoned.
