a friend of mine told me that even if u reach the 3rd stage which is the interview it doesn't guarantee u a seat. he was referring to his friend whom try his luck for 3rd time running yet didn't pass it. i wonder whether the expectation from the interviewer is too high for that fella standard or simply he don't have any good cable, if u know what i mean.

i just want to ask..my fren told me that if u want to apply for PTD then u'll need SPM..is it true..?? considering its a government body..he said that usually during the interview session they would like to look at the SPM..(usually the bahasa malaysia)

its true lar. we hardly get increment or bonus. wen get oso 1/2mth nee. but prices of all goods are increasing. just bcoz some of the civil servants are lazy doesnt mean all are. we need to survive also. if the pvt sector wanna tumpang the bonus n all, pls by all means join d service and improve it. dun just sit in d pvt sector complainin bout this n dat pourin ur frustation towards d gomen servants, while d taukey is making profit buyin bmw's

I am currently a teacher serving under KPM. I got the offer to sit for the exam for PTD on 12th May. Should I go for it? Are there a lot of differences in terms of benefits between a PTD and a teacher? This is my 3rd year in the govt already

a pengawai takbir job is to give approval for any government funds for purchases and contracts related to their appointed field.mostly are earning double or triple their income from commission from either an own setup company,partnership,or relatives company.its an opportunity for such a position

all i can say is since u mentioned that being a ptd, ur able to get money, why not join and experience urself? then u can enlighten us on ur lucrative "experience"

Hullo! OK, I've a question, and hope somebody would help me:

Does SPA generally prefer candidates that are currently in the employment?

You see, I've resigned from my last job last May, and now I'm teaching at several tuition centres as a part-time gig, and actively volunteering for some charity foundations. I'm wondering if my state of jobless-ness could affect my chances of passing my PAC later (or interview, if I pass PAC). Someone that I know is now working as an assistant manager at a well known semi-government body, and he's still so young! Also, his father used to hold a very high post in the service.

While I know the decision to resign was my own, I can't help but to feel worried about my chances of passing the PAC and the interview, later. And the fact that my confidence level is at an all time low, doesn't help me at all with my PAC preparation.

Is there any eye inspection during physical test ?

I passed the exam already and now waiting for PAC .

I afraid I'm not able to pass the physical test as I'm wearing glasses.

If there is, I will not take part as I assumed I'll fail the test.

I asked on behalf on other forumer here who might wearing glasses as well.

I was previously from MOF. Now completing my DPA. Another 30 more days. In d service for bout 3.5yrs. Junior je but got lotsa senior frens la. Yup that tweet is me. Hehe. So far my batch only one guy got RTU due to health issues. So u should know la d drop out rate. Haha.

another 20 plus days huh? welcome back!! my batch is going in feb 2014.. last DPA..hope its as lepak as your DPA.
