Oh really, how on earth can people 'look at yr attitude here'. I'm a psycho grad, attitude is a heavy word. And arguing in forum is already a child's behaviour, fyi rclxub.gif

Signing off and all the best for yr future career as ptd because i'm very sure you will definitely PASS all stages.
*
in forums, ur words can show ur attitude.
u think typing words here has no consequences?
ur ignorance, arrogance and sarcasm with the forummers here shows do show ur attitude.
or is this just a defensive mechanism for a keyboard warrior?

and it does not matter if ur are a psych grad (or is it psycho??).
anyone can learn anything but still have a bad attitude.
and thinking with ur psycho education makes u holier than us here, that's just sad...

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Jul 20 2011, 09:35 AM)
a friend of mine told me that even if u reach the 3rd stage which is the interview it doesn't guarantee u a seat. he was referring to his friend whom try his luck for 3rd time running yet didn't pass it. i wonder whether the expectation from the interviewer is too high for that fella standard or simply he don't have any good cable, if u know what i mean.
*
pity him. 3 times trying also did not pass...
i've no comment on the cable thingy coz i did my 3 stages fair and square.
maybe he should polish up his 'interviewee skills' coz it's that stage that he did not get thru.

anyway, u should know that the probability of being selected is very slim.
the latest exam was attended by around 40K candidates and the intake is only about 100. sweat.gif

i just want to ask..my fren told me that if u want to apply for PTD then u'll need SPM..is it true..?? considering its a government body..he said that usually during the interview session they would like to look at the SPM..(usually the bahasa malaysia)
*
well yes.
nearly every job in the government requires SPM certification except for lower positions such as driver or pembantu am pejabat..

The interview damn tough trust me ...maybe becoz i'm cainis

tbh, it should be easier for non-malay coz the percentage of application is lower and jpa have to fill the quota of non-malay.
the quota for malay is bigger but the applicant is many more..

I am currently a teacher serving under KPM. I got the offer to sit for the exam for PTD on 12th May. Should I go for it? Are there a lot of differences in terms of benefits between a PTD and a teacher? This is my 3rd year in the govt already
*

goodluck to all, eventhough the exam was weeks ago..
just FYI, the percentage who was accepted into PTD (total applicants from exam right up to interview): 2010 about 2.1%, 2011 about 2.2%.

so, whoever gets the job, please be an excellent PTD.
coz u are considered creme de la creme, and there are a lot of ppl who tried but failed.

QUOTE(sharifahay @ Aug 3 2012, 08:56 PM)
Hullo! smile.gif OK, I've a question, and hope somebody would help me:

Does SPA generally prefer candidates that are currently in the employment?

You see, I've resigned from my last job last May, and now I'm teaching at several tuition centres as a part-time gig, and actively volunteering for some charity foundations. I'm wondering if my state of jobless-ness could affect my chances of passing my PAC later (or interview, if I pass PAC). Someone that I know is now working as an assistant manager at a well known semi-government body, and he's still so young! Also, his father used to hold a very high post in the service.

While I know the decision to resign was my own, I can't help but to feel worried about my chances of passing the PAC and the interview, later. And the fact that my confidence level is at an all time low, doesn't help me at all with my PAC preparation.
*
nope it wont effect ur chances.
infact, if i'm the interviewer, i'm inclined to give a jobless candidate a job.. biggrin.gif

May I ask one question ?

Is there any eye inspection during physical test ?

I passed the exam already and now waiting for PAC .

I afraid I'm not able to pass the physical test as I'm wearing glasses.

If there is, I will not take part as I assumed I'll fail the test.

I asked on behalf on other forumer here who might wearing glasses as well.

Thanks  blush.gif

beside tiredness, based on my exprience, the interviewer will act like that if the interviewee cant answer most of their questions, look 'blank', have no will to answer and most of the time just 'goreng' the answers..
