Ok ill try to answer this. PTD is divided into two, home and diplomatic service. so home sector usually consist of all ministries and diplomatic service is only KLN plus overseas missions.

Home sector -> highest is either KSU/KSN/KPPA
Foreign service -> ambassador/diplomat etc.

correct me if i'm wrong.
*
actually, we all are under one service.
from KSN > KPPA > KSUs/KPs > SUBs/Pengarahs and so on..
the diplomats/ambassadors are just one of the jobs under Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
other Ministries also has officers on attachment to other countries depending on their sector and jobs..

But the biggest and most important asset u need as a PTD is PBB (Pandai Bodek Boss) you have this you would be flying up there man. smile.gif

well to me, in my dept now, that is total BS.
u work hard, knowledgeable, then boss will sayang u.

but office politics will always be anywhere, just dont mention it as "the biggest and most important asset u need".
its like u are asking them to be a PBB person.
i think u should say to be careful of a PBB person in the office.

every fresh start is difficult. u just hv to make sacrifices.
i hv a friend whose salary was nearly 15k, but when he joined ptd, that dropped to around 3k, but he had to make adjustments
even now after 9 years in service, his salary only reached half of it, he is still satisfied as a ptd..

budget cuts, yes, maybe.
but sometimes, the PAC clashes with other courses offered in INTAN.
so, maybe no accomodation available, although the dewan or classrooms are available.

well, whatever it is, sacrifices need to be made.
if u really want it, then go.
