Actually it not a matter of how many user drop the phone/tablet but what the cost IF the screen crack once dropped.
I think XZU screen cost higher than Note2/3.
And..if dropped. .there's chances that XZU back cover might crack also and that will be double bummer..!!!

Why do we wanna follow Blackberry and Microsoft..?
If we wanna a tight security phone..we can always buy Blackberry.

It's a waste of resources for me. I don't face any security on Android, note that I used plenty of closed mobile ecosystem like iOS, BB10, WP8. All I do is install apps JUST from Play Store. Legitimately. I don't know about you, I don't have security issue in Android.

Just wondering how fast these Note 3 features will be updated into Note 2 officially. 

the few features that "bothering" me:
1.  USB 3.0 connection
2.  Minimum 32GB internal memory
3.  Better audio quality
4.  Higher reso screen

This is an interesting high-level overview of Samsung's security, including Knox. I find the "authorized OSs" part interesting. Notice the s on the end of OSs. The Knox marketing manual states that it is possible to change the device keys securely, but makes no reference to how it is done. Any ideas?

during the startup process. Firmware images (that is, operating systems and other system components)
that are cryptographically signed by known, trusted authorities are considered as “authorized” firmware.
Secure Boot is the first line of defense against malicious attacks on KNOX-based mobile devices.

Secure Boot requires the device boot loader, kernel, and system software to be cryptographically signed
by a key verified by the hardware. Secure Boot uses X.509 certificates and public keys which are embedded
into the boot loader of the device. A secure hash of the certificates is fused into hardware Read-Only
Memory (ROM) at the time of manufacture. The Secure Boot loader will only continue if the authorized
secure signed binaries are present. Next, Secure Boot verifies the cryptographic signature of the Linux
kernel and system image before handing control to the OS.

Nope, hardware limitation I believe. Even if there were a hack I don't think you'd get optimal quality.

BTW, the whole premise of security is "TRUST NO ONE" therefore they need some secure signing mechanism whereby  every component along the chain can authenticate to each other.

So I think it will be a tough nut to crack.

S4 Knox was not in the ROM until maybe these 2 weeks.

I thought u said that u can't bring xzu OUT with u due to size and u need to place it on the table and fear it being stolen.

I got no issues with the phone and like the size and screen but it cannot be pocketed comfortably.

Anyway I still prefer a device with active digitizer so probably I'll get a note3, but will see what the alcatel and maybe asus hold.

Even though Sony has 6.44 inch screen but not whole screen can use coz at the bottom got fix space for Back & Home Icon Button unlike Samsung Smartphone, those button allocate at bottom bezel...
