Just that most ppl cant take it Don't worry bro. QUOTE(hooh888 @ Sep 7 2013, 12:43 AM) me too, i am waiting for note 3, but the LTE one. i assume the octa-core variant will be here first since that was the case for s4. I heard somewhere LTE and non-LTE come together. I'm just wonder how they price? LTE- RM2299 non-LTE - RM1799?

QUOTE(kahyeec @ Sep 8 2013, 07:33 AM) well, at least AT&T is selling it for USD725 , which will be 2320 and rounded down to 2299. Sorry for your high British Pound Price ya. Verison is selling LTE version for USD699 which is same as Note 2 when launched. So the price is RM2299 in Malaysia for LTE version. For Exynos version, should be RM1999. If Exynos version sell at RM2099, people will opt for RM2299 LTE version because RM200 is worth for all the awesome feature.

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Sep 8 2013, 10:54 AM) That is too good to be true. Since Note 3 would probably use the latest Exynos, NON-LTE 32gb (Exynos) would be RM2299. LTE 32gb(S800) RM2599, LTE 64gb(S800) RM2799. You could say Im aware of Samsung pricing pattern since I've already brought SGS, SGS2, SGNote, SGS3, SGNoteII. http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/06/verizon...-note-3-prices/Verizon Note 3 is LTE version which is priced at Note 2 price. Since you aware the Note 2 price when launch in Msia, you can be sure Note 3 LTE = Note 2 price. But of course I could be wrong. I'm not sure why you want it to price higher. Let's pray for lower price.

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Sep 8 2013, 10:56 AM) Looks like LTE 32gb will be too pricey at least for me. True. S4 LTE version still priced very high compare to exynos version.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 9 2013, 11:45 AM) All Sony waterproof / water resistance phone this year loudspeaker is not strong and loud, the sound is spread out. Z Ultra is among the best already (no idea on Z1), you go hear Z, you will vomit later. I always hate it if speaker not loud. I always get missed call.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 9 2013, 11:48 AM) So far I never get miss call, that part still ok and loud enough. Just you will having difficulty listen to WeChat talk outdoor. OIC. If won't get missed call, then its plenty loud already. I scared I go to shopping mall (very noisy), I can't hear my phone ringing (although vibration would probably notify me of incoming call).

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 9 2013, 11:54 AM) When full volume it is enough loudness, just cannot compare with others phone loudness. WeChat output is softer than others app, thus listening WeChat talk is troublesome where you need to put the speaker near the ear to listen clearly. Others than that, the XZU loudspeaker is ok, not the best but still acceptable. OIC.I never talk using WeChat before. I didn't know you need to use speakerphone to chat using WeChat. Some users are giving less than rating "5" for ZXU speaker in comparison to rating "10" in Note 2, which is means the XZU is quite bad

QUOTE(h11g @ Sep 9 2013, 01:20 PM) people give rating base on the criteria they deem important. if i think the loud speaker volume is important, ill rate xzu less than 5/10, but if loud speaker volume not important for me then ill rate xzu possibly higher. main thing about xzu is the screen period. and the other pluses are the nice design, solid build quality. xzu oozes class. I think those that rate 5 for XZU is just rating the speaker only. They didn't rate the overall experience. Means, the loudness of Note 2 is double of that XZU.

QUOTE(brugaras @ Sep 10 2013, 09:28 AM) Love the Note 3 for the size and the function but also love the Z1 for its build and camera I cannot fathom why people comparing Zi and Note 3. Note 3 is one and only phablet with S-Pen and highest end spec. Its very easy to choose. You want S-Pen and highest end spec get Note 3. For everything else (I'm not sure why everything else is important ) get others.

QUOTE(un_id @ Sep 10 2013, 12:47 PM) hail Note 3! you are the best, nothing to compare… meanwhile in Apple; CEO: go find some alien to design the next iPoop! (i got influenced by internet jokes..lol) Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa CPUs will be able to use all eight cores at once in Q4 Mobile http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/09/samsung...nos-5-octa-hmp/Yes, its confirmed Note 3 will be the best. Exynos version will really be 8 core. All usable at once. Not fake octa core. But real one. So anyone interested on Exynos version now?

QUOTE(h11g @ Sep 10 2013, 12:56 PM) no point because dev dont like developing for exynos platform. they rather do it on snapdragon Erm, if Android OS passed all UI and touch processing to little ARM7 cores strictly while other processes on BIG ARM15 cores, we'll get iOS smoothness.

QUOTE(oldKyoo @ Sep 10 2013, 12:58 PM) The question here is 1) Dev support? 2) Are the apps that you use capable of using all 8? or does the octa core scale well?? This is just over hyped. But I know you Malaysians love it very much. 1) no need Dev support. Hopefully KitKat 4.4 will support octa parallel smart processing 2) apps should continue use 4 ARM15 cores while ARM7 cores can be used for UI element

QUOTE(oldKyoo @ Sep 10 2013, 01:01 PM) That is not the point, android as a whole is flawed in its prioritization. No amount of cores will "remove" that lag away. hahaha... please don't say that ya. Although we know Android OS is bad in prioritization, we cannot say this in Android forum. Later got people will hate you. I think with more parallel processing lag can be removed. Who's with me in this? This post has been edited by gogo2: Sep 10 2013, 01:03 PM

QUOTE(h11g @ Sep 10 2013, 01:04 PM) i feel that part of the reason that make owning an android device special is because of the dev support and amount of customization available to each of us. then again your priority may be different. I'm not saying DEV support is not the priority. Its just that its not important in this case. Multiprocessing is I think in the OS, and not in the dev cooking rom.

QUOTE(un_id @ Sep 10 2013, 01:08 PM) of course it is, because its the latest flagship anyway, what the point to be the latest if not the best.. the only question is just for how long it will be on the throne? for this year, yes, it might be, because afaik there is no more unannounced incoming device for this year… but towards the end of this year, be ready for next year flagships rumours.. its never ending contest.. you know why i'm excited to see Alcatel One Touch Hero? its not about how powerful is the processor, but i'm glad to see more functionality coming for smartphone when manufacturer starts to think out of the box and making more hybrids.. thats what i really want to see, not just increase in number of processor cores and RAM.. I think we already come to a point that we have above sufficient processing power on our smartphones, but whats next? Z1, Ultra Z, LG G2, all this flagship but its not the latest with 3GB RAM. Why? Samsung monopolize all 3GB in the market?

QUOTE(oldKyoo @ Sep 10 2013, 01:09 PM) Not quite, that phone is highly customised, even with its architecture cores and their sole purpose. Almost to the extent of it being the iPhone of Android. but its still using the same Android right? Prioritization change for Android OS in MotoX?
