QUOTE(alpha33 @ Nov 4 2013, 11:13 AM) eh?hari tu jer aku kena block ngan polis. tak panggil aku gi checkup pun. town tak der jam? area mana ? siap puja keta aku cantik lagi.... mungkin pengeras u tak cukup kot...jangan la kedekut lain kali... for proton, not worth it la. better get a retint.cheaper and easier. takyah bukak pasang banyak banyak. dulu masa NA MT, bawak town adalah dalam 300-350km.(AT Max 250km, highway 350km). Bawak highway boleh dapat dalam 450-500km. Now dah bot, town dalam 300km. highway boleh lagi maintain 400-430km. random boosting, constant 150kmph. highway sama.. tapi town beza ngan ko byk besar.. lol double tu |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 11 2013, 11:10 AM) ermm... what is the p/n left and right ?I think the hinge cannot do rethread lah.. what katz79 mentioned is for the oil sump nut rethread, not your case. there is a P/N there (left and right different), you can ask around on any spare parts shop. just be-careful when removing the rear upper door trim coz the door trim kaki broken easily also.. is there the nut thingy to put it back inside? without replacing whole hinge? cause only the 1 biji i think is something like nut.. donno it got sell or not. rear upper door trim is remove from inside the car? sorry noob here DL== |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 11 2013, 12:11 PM) Refer back the first post I reply you on the P/N left / right different. haha, use cable ah? i not sure the hole easy to take out or not.. or the nut actually no hole there... i scare buuka bonet kenot close back then i die.. lol.. cause when i close i use alot energy due to the bonet spring.. and the bonet senget when i close..I don't think the "nut" got sell, need to replace the whole hinge. Sorry, my bad, the correct name should call rear upper (C Pillar) inner trim, not rear upper door trim. cheapest way to use to few cable tie tie it back loh. seems like less shop which sell this thingy, only found 1 ppl selling in lelong.. donno need go which type of shop to find this thing.. the back side i think easy pasang.. but the bonet on mirror there i think not easy, the spring can cabut? i think need cabut the spring also This post has been edited by eddie2020: Nov 11 2013, 04:34 PM |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 12 2013, 10:37 AM) You guess wrong i see, mine dint have any leaking afaik.. only inside bonet sometimes little water, donno where it come from..the "kriikk kroook kriiikk kroook" sound has bee eliminated after adjust the rear trunk striker. I changed the hinges is because my car having water leaking on the rear roof there (Just above rear passengers head area, left and right) and also when my trunk open up, it feel unbalance, one side is higher than another side even after closed it also can notice left side is higher than right side. did try to adjust many times on the striker somehow still cannot make it balance... went to Proton workshop nearby my house the mech told me his Gen2 also having this so call "issue", he show me his rear trunk when open, lagi worse than me... the water leaking is still persist... so eventually I give up liao You guys did not have this issue? donno it balance or not balance, will see it , but i feel its even and dont have deep inside or up above.. because my back i dont have the proton logo cz previous owner changed before.. the bonet balance is depend on hinge rite? i know 1 of my hinger rosak my bonet open close also not balance.. i know when i drive corner much and tekan minyak release clutch got kiookkzziziiii like this, then press more pedal on fuel no already.. donno outside sound or what.. |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 12 2013, 03:52 PM) hoho, makan lunch at RedBox.. i scare the new one size not same exactly as the original one.. lol i asked my bro help me order.. i told him rightside.... but i donno the right side is view from behind of the car or front of the car.. driver seat is right side so the stuff should be in right side rite, cz my driverside rosak.. u change how long ago ?unfortunately the hinges cannot really do adjustment.. there is another two screws with a long plate holding the hinges inside the car body.. so I would say there is no chance to do adjustment, maybe can adjust but i don't know the way lah Tailgate Hinge LH PW831943 68.06 Tailgate Hinge RH PW831944 68.06 LH - Left side RH - Right side RM60 per piece consider okay price, I think i got that with this price also. if you scare wrong buy then remove the faulty unit and show to them loh, left and right hinges cannot interchangeable use one mah due to direction tak sama. try to adjust the striker to the lowest position and try, (or remove the striker totally your trunk might not able to close when the striker at lowest position, but with this position your trunk is fully "sit" on the car body, (No free play/No space) It can let you trace where is rattling sound coming from, at least it work for me. QUOTE(alpha33 @ Nov 12 2013, 04:24 PM) i tried to adjust lowest before. results: When bonnet latch pulled, it does not jump up. Have to use two person just to open. One at the latch, one at the bonnet. aduh.. this exactly same as my prob... this only happen if the striker adjusted lowest? ytd back from work i go observe my back bonet... both side zun zun very even.. but when i open bonet, need open many time with the latch... or 2 ppl... i found out new idea, i got cloth in my driver seat, whenever i wan open, i pull the latch and i put in on hold by putting my cloth in between the fuel pump and the latch bonnet 1.. then i walk go behind and open my bonnet QUOTE(katz79 @ Nov 12 2013, 04:28 PM) ok just got back to my site. actual i dunno how severe ur leakage are. but my car got leakage at the back area of the headliner(roof carpet, got water stain). i can see water dripping at the back byrear view mirror when driving during heavy rain. mine is diy by previous owner, got 1 whole carpet cover my roof headliner.. but i donno got water drip or not.. hw to detect it??due to the water stain, i change my roof headliner to black in color headliner but it doesn't solve the leakage issue(only cosmetically i suspected the water can get into the rubber seal and that's where it got sip through the headliner. until now no more leakage issue to me larrr. that sealant(grey color) is not more rm20 but changing the headliner hehehe... u know i know lar QUOTE(katz79 @ Nov 12 2013, 06:49 PM) wandzul aku dah dapat powerbank dr underdablanket...
heres the drillz » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(katz79 @ Nov 12 2013, 07:48 PM) please do remember tu aku buat kat outside. inside rubber seal tu pun aku buat juga for safety precaution wow, the drill... izzit left is roof and right is bonnet side.. confuse.. or is it other part from the car hahagot water stain la at ur rear headliner tu. see tompok2 mcm airliur basi u kat bantal bucuk u tuuuuu my headliner pun sagging like yours also. very sad when see through rear view mirror |
