Baseband and bootloader are independent from the ROM. I'm running CM10.1 with 4.3 bootloader and baseband (.84).

QUOTE(olygopoly @ Aug 18 2013, 07:28 PM) Does it means that the .84 band is better than the .48 ? Can i flash the bootloader and band from pa thread and use cm 10.2 ? How do i go about it I'm using Fastboot command from Android SDK, so called manual way. The bootloader and baseband are from stock google 4.3 firmware package. |

Meaning cm 10.2 is using diff radio band? Necause when flashing from cm10.1 to cm 10.2 i jut flash rom n gapps. No radioband. But i read for pa 3.95 thread hey flash rdio n bootloader first |

If you update your N4 with OTA update or flash stock 4.3 before, the baseband and fastboot will update too. But if you just flash any other ROM such as CM or PA straight from 4.2.2, you'll need to flash the baseband and fastboot files that are in the PA thread.

Just flash the bootloader and radio from either fastboot or flashable zips in recovery, then you can optionally dirty flash the rom again.QUOTE(olygopoly @ Aug 18 2013, 11:50 PM) but then for the radio band in the PA thread I saw the file name is exactly the same except for the last one. 84 in thread and. 48 in mine. is there possibility of typo if you are unsure, http://j.mp/16mvcwjThis post has been edited by azrash: Aug 19 2013, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(olygopoly @ Aug 19 2013, 05:57 AM) The latest baseband ends with .84 . So if yours end with .48 then u need to flash it. I think the older baseband is not compatible with 4.3 ROMs, maybe thats why you got low signal reception. |
