QUOTE(sunnyboy @ Aug 12 2013, 05:22 PM) how much for a used n4 16gb now? The current price for used unit is almost same as new at the moment. Unless you have the bargaining power, then you can get below 900. Average on 1K - 1.2K. Might as well buy a new unit.

QUOTE(chokolato @ Aug 13 2013, 02:38 PM) Guys I need your help ! My GPS seems not working! it's showing inaccurate position initially very hard to get a lock on location (The GPS symbol keep blink) then when i got a lock on, my location in the phone is 1km away from my actual physical location (i had my car window down and put the phone out of the car) what may be the cause of it? The only thing I remember is I sent for a screen replacement at LG center, not sure if 'removing the GPS' is needed to replace the screen panel. Worst is I lost the resit liao So I dunno whether its related to them, or it's the phone new issue caused by my usage? Please help ! To replace the screen they need to remove everything including the mainboard. But the GPS is soldered onto the mainboard so there is no way to remove it unless they are not careful enough and damaging the chip. It may be the antenna issue coz N4 has a interconnect cable to link up the mainboard to the daughterboard at bottom of the phone. How is your phone signal strength? Any difference between pre and post replacement?

Maybe the cable or antenna was not properly fix? Or you can backup, factory reset and monitor from a clean boot up.

Well, that will be the first thing to do before sending over to service centre, at least you have try on your own first. SC will do the same before dismantling your phone for hardware check IMHO and you can tell them that you already done so. Save some hassle to put up the complaint.

QUOTE(lOrDjAbU @ Aug 17 2013, 03:15 AM) Thanks. So I have to look for production date that is 303 or newer right? Can you attach a picture of where to look for this serial number? I'm afraid of mixing up with IMEI number.

QUOTE(yorkhan @ Aug 17 2013, 12:19 PM) do you all still lock and unlock the phone using the Power button or is there some other way?? I think that will be the first to spoil.. There is an app for it called Touch Control but the developer still having issue with 4.3 IINM. Alternatively, you can use custom kernel which has swipe2wake / swipe2sleep. QUOTE(Andrew_1980 @ Aug 17 2013, 12:25 PM) Made in korea One of my friend is having made in China batch, thus the serial number playing a major role in my decision to purchase it as the box is sealed.

Baseband and bootloader are independent from the ROM. I'm running CM10.1 with 4.3 bootloader and baseband (.84).

QUOTE(olygopoly @ Aug 18 2013, 07:28 PM) Does it means that the .84 band is better than the .48 ? Can i flash the bootloader and band from pa thread and use cm 10.2 ? How do i go about it I'm using Fastboot command from Android SDK, so called manual way. The bootloader and baseband are from stock google 4.3 firmware package.

Hopefully MCMC IMEI barring will kick off soon to deter such activity in the future. http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2013...e-year-end.aspx

QUOTE(Wan @ Sep 7 2013, 09:07 AM) Anybody have this problem? 11pm had 70%. Wifi off, data on, wake up in the morning only 50% left. Was fine before. Just noticed it last few weeks. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Use Wakelock Detector, it has more details on which services are hogging the battery.
