there are many features i like about Moto X, which i hope to come to the next Nexus:

- S4 pro + X8 SOC. this combination making it possible to have all those always listening, always on possible but still have much better battery life compare to other phone
- Motorola Assist, now this is SMART phone:
o automatically set phone to silence during meeting by reading your Calender
o automatically set phone to hand-free mode when you driving

automation is 1 of those thing i'd like to see some improvement in Android... hopefully the next Nexus will run KLP too.

Obviously I tick that,I just untick those red color ones,the yellow and whiteiI leave it

I can't switch on my phone after I turned it off.
I tried pressing start buttom, start buttom + up/down volume button but to no avail.

Guys, I wanna use flashify and flash stock ROM, is the rom boot IMG or recovery IMG?

can't even access to bootloader?

boot.img contains ramdisk and kernel
recovery.img contains recovery - stock recover/CWM/TWRP

Neither of them contains the ROM itself.

ROM is in system.img but you can't flash that using flashify.

Guys,need help here.

My Nexus fell off and now there's a crack on the left hand side of the screen and the touch screen is not functioning.

Anyone knows how much will the repairs be?

This phone that i have previously shown with proud to people is now failing me so much and it has become so disappointing, besides the touch screen became so weak in responsiveness, and slow in typing, the camera failed so bad when i tried to take a photo, it can launch, but it will never take a photo no matter how many times i have pressed the blue button.


sometimes people just need a reliable out of the box working phone - i was a strong preacher of Android and it makes me feel awfully ashamed of what i have said before..

Do you know what's 'defect'?You can be 1 out of 1 million people being unlucky,see when iPhone 5 first released,there are some defects that is even worst than you encountered,just send for warranty,that's why there's warranty card on your box

Problem of 4.3, did not happened before 4.3 update, 4 months use and it was good. Dont know how your cute warranty card can fix that.

Perhaps try factory reset ? You done it via OTA / flash it by yourself?

What was the problems you are facing?

4.3 seems good enough, except for the occasional BT power drain and recently high power consumption from Google Track (no idea what triggers it). Nothing a reboot can't fix so far.

So far, 4.3 (stock) is really fast, buttery smooth, even compared to CM10.2 (4.2.2) which stutters even at app drawer, bummer. And of course, the best ROM to date is still 4.1.2, which I have clocked more than 1600 hours of uptime on my GNex.

Anything is possible,my friend iPhone 3gs motherboard spoil because she update to iOS 6,I would even say that you're lucky enough that you can even boot up your phone,i think they will accept warranty as long as its a defect

OTA, havent try factory reset..
4.3 isn't that bad but there are a few problems occurred but they happened occasionally that are probably caused by 4.3 :

1; phone auto reboot after call ended

2; phone auto reboot after launched camera

3; phone battery drain too fast on mobile data (didn't test on wifi)

4; keyboard is less responsive, eg : when you type "LOWYAT" phone can only sense "LWYT" ( Will be fixed by itself after typing for a while )

5; Camera could not take photo/focus (totally no respond) but only can launch the app, 3 function key still responding. (Can only be fixed after reboot)


these problems had no appearance before the 4.3
will wait for any fix from Google but I'm losing patience
