From end of last season till now,
What AW has done right:
1. Get rid of deadwood (well, except the best striker ever lived)
2. (Still) Keeping first team players from leaving
3. Fielded a strong side against AV.
What AW hasn't done right:
1. Did not buy early (or at all) when we are told that we have a huge transfer fund.
2. Did not sub in Podolski earlier when we were 1-1 and when were chasing the game.
I'm still in "In Arsene, we trust" camp. It's simply because that when things are heading South, what the team needs the most is our support. We should not turn our back onto them when they need us the most!
Well, that's a general thought and does not mean that one should not analyze and discuss/debate what's happening, such how things work (good or bad) on previous match.
All in all, although not many are willing to admit it (it's very obvious btw), I must admit that we are no longer title challengers. Not even if Suarez is joining us (I do not rate Suarez so high that he alone will change our chance becoming title challengers). It is very unfortunate that I'm putting Arsenal with the likes Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, etc that are challenging for the next year's last UCL spot.... and with how things are going on, we are not the leading pack even among these teams.
Yes, my expectation has been set to the lowest compared to my other years of supporting Arsenal. That's mainly because everyone else is improving by investing into their teams, I do not see the same level of urgency or commitment from Arsenal.
As one has mentioned it, only real gooner understands how a gooner feels. I need not elaborate further. I just hope you guys can continue keeping the faith that things will be fine very soon.... whether you are #wengerout camp or "in Arsene, we trust" camp, the club comes first!
