Rosicky was great and totally stood up for the game, no doubt about that. He was a tad unlucky to have skewed that shot. But what about others??? You can't depend on one person to change the game. When you are a goal down, drive the ball forward, wideman cut in to their penalty box, close down on the opponents, pressure them, that way something ought to happen, dont you think so. But no, what did we do? We lifted long balls from our own half all the way up and just prayed that giroud could have got the ball and miraculously danced past all the Villa's players that have marked him dead tight. When Villa's players got the ball, no close down or whatsoever, give them all the time in the world to come up with something. Or we pass sideway and wait someone somewhere to make a Fabregas killer pass. Apart from Rosicky's skewed shot, how many real chances had we made after that?

I have to agree, thru ball can only past one player, and sometimes doesn't got thru at all, but thru lob, that opened a new gameplay.

i know bro. i dont have a problem with criticising wenger. i just dont like it when someone does it in an emotionally charged way. i dont mind it if we do it right now, after a loss, because we shouldnt be f-ing losing to aston villa at home. so i understand the emotions run high after a game. no problem. as a matter of fact i find it funky that we're already two months in the window and only signed sanogo, FOR FREE, while our rivals above us and below us have signed players, aside from man utd but they're the champions so they can afford some slacking off. you didnt watch the game, right? fans left the stadium after we conceded the third goal, and i agree with them. if i were there i would've done the same thing, and probably wouldve shouted at wenger before leaving too. how else would fans make a point towards the club?

there's two extremes on arsenal forums everywhere: one extreme who rants and complains all the time and the other extreme who defends arsene no matter what he does. i have been on both extremes, and now i'm trying to stay in the middle. "trying" is the key word tho hahaha, sometimes i tend to go to the extreme too.

I still expect us to spend. At least 3 players. We are in a serious situation now. Dont have to be a manager to spot problems.

Yes, our team is too thin, considering we had sold a few without addition, it was a poor strategy.

The saga of Higuan pending too long and end up not willing to spend the large sum and he went Napoli, same goes to Suarez and I don't think we should splash above 40 mil pounds for this feller since Wenger not willing to offer higher than 30 mil pounds for Higuan.

At least for now, I am more happy if Wenger is going to buy 5 x 10mil buyers. Better than one free transfer addition against 70mil pounds kitty + the fund of the few players sold

Yea gotta agree FIFA lob thru pass is nice. And I like their player deep runs. Makes ur buildup towards goal a beauty to watch. But I find the auto run deep run occurs less in 2013 than 2012

Actually I bias wenger out one lol. But I have toned down in recent times cos last time I used to expect us to be title challengers every season due to our reputation during those times. And seeing the drought made me think it can't be the player's problem alone. Then, I start to care less about us winning epl. Reduce expectation. But it doesn't seems too good for the direction of our club if we have to reduce the expectation. And worse thing is, every season it's always almost the identical thing that happens. I partly blame the way aw come out and talk with confidence and the way he somehow try to give an image of we being a progressing club. He gave the illusion. He have to make it a reality. But years after years it's the same.

But for this season, I started to have confidence in him again cos he seems like going after big players with real quality. It gave me the relieve that he finally sees the problem and tries to sort it out. But till now no signings. But I'm still not gonna rant just yet lol. Cos I don't believe we are not gonna sign anyone being in the situation right now. Just hope we land a few guys that's really good.

Btw, Just have to wait for motd for myself to see what sloppy play we have towards the buildup of the pen.
