Just now @lowyat plaza, got chance to test the unit...

initial review

1) Everything load damn fast, the test unit is loaded with 300+apps

2) But when I watch movie, there r micro-lag. I blame this on the 300apps.

3) Stylus tested with normal ball pen (with and without the pen head)
it work fine but not as bad as review by unker...
disclaimer: i didnt own note2, so for me this is acceptable...
or mayb sony improve it with the latest firmware

The new firmware do improve it.

I try use Pencil and it run fine, and can touch everywhere you want now.

good to hear sony actually improve the stylus input
they really listen to consumer complain

ohh i forget to test palm resting, how was it after the firmware update?

tis ori flipcase got sleep/wake function?

I not sure this consider fixed or not.

Now, you still can touch anything when your finger/palm rest at screen, but not working when try touch with stylus - example pencil.

Yup, consider. I try rest my left finger at screen and I can still touch anything via my right finger, but not working when I try touch with pencil.

Current Firmware: 14.1.B.0.471 improvement/fixed:

• Increase performance and much smoothness. My Antutu score increase from previous 30k to current 33k.
• Better stylus input now! You can touch everywhere you want now with pencil and responsiveness.
• Screen is touchable when your finger/palm resting at screen now! But not working with stylus-pencil.
• Still old UI without X-Reality support yet.

I don't have screen protector, not feel to touch with ball pen. hehe...

ohhoo just now i test the test unit without SP

it feel smooth, and sensitive

i try with toothpick..it wont work..

i think the stylus head hv minimal diameter size
