Why the thermostat, is it faulty?

guys, i have a question

the right front wheel hit a path hole real hard until the type puncture and stock rim spoilt. i sent to the workshop to repair and they quote about RM900 for one tyre+rim, "car leg", the bonet bend a bit and probably to fix the absorber as well. does that sound about right for this more than 10+ years car?

the car is already in the workshop and i am going to pick up later or tomorrow. just shocked that is not cheap just to fix the old car

I guess RM700 is the maximum to fix all the mentioned stuff?

I do not have info for Iswara bcos not done yet (I did for previous car long time ago, so prices not accurate). Any way I can only make some guesses : each wheel have 2 bearings, normally changed both sides, so total 4 bearings. Each bearing may be around RM30 - 50. Add in labour maybe total damage RM300 ???

my lower arm from proton came with a nice (rather huge too lol) packaged box btw (with it's logo and part numbers of course)

well thats the thing, glenmarie part center is more than 220 lerh. the price i got IS from outside stockist (although they are listed on proton's website as well)

and as i mentioned, the nissan sentra 2006 or so original japan imported lower arm with full nissan packing... is over 400 per lower arm lol. tan chong direct worse, over 500 LOL

Wow your iswara is fuel efficient. Haha mine gets around 10km/l only full urban driving.

Macam macam pun ada...wonder how to avoid buying these fake product in the market ? how do we know we buy the original lubricants ?

Try draining out all your gear oil,  put in Lubegard manual and then top up appropriately with Chemlube/red line full synthetic gear oil of the correct api specifications /viscosity ,  see if that solves the problem

Did you install it on all 4 doors, hood and bonnet? How much you spent? Installed yourself?
