Time to play around with "A" mode already bro, it shouldn't be too hard. After mastering it you won't get shaky shots anymore  thumbup.gif
I'm not sure about the D600 but it should be the same, in A mode you get to change ISO and as the mode suggests, Aperture. Shutter speed will be determined by the camera itself to properly expose a photo thumbup.gif

I am still noob, but here are some general tips for you  laugh.gif

Gosh... luckily I only steal my own skies from my crappy photos haha, otherwise it could be me apologizing XD
Any idea what really needs to be done if we need to "borrow" other people's "skies"? Just ask for permission first is it?

if you need a car for the weekend.. what do you do ? you can borrow, steal or buy! rolleyes.gif

You bought a D600 and use it that way? When taking shots, it is easy for you to check the settings by just taking a glance at the infos in the viewfinder, the iso, shutter speed and aperture are there for you to check.

It takes time one bro, noneed rush. Practice makes perfect though, so just keep shooting! Force yourself to step out of auto or program modes, don't let the camera "control" you. I remembered how all the skies in my photos were overexposed when I switched to manual mode (as I don't even know how to use the lightmeter [the one mentioned by mingyuyu sifu in my camera. Still, after some time, managed to understand how things work in the end rclxms.gif

Jiayou~ You can do it!

Ah, that's good ah~ I only use manual mode when using flash or taking special effects or long exposure shots. Too bad the quick modes in the D800 is pretty inconvenient to use haha... otherwise can quickly switch in between "outdoor" and "indoor" modes wub.gif

Anyone know which brand screen protector includes both rear and top LCD screen protectors? GGS? And if i use those that stick on the screen, can I still use the provided Nikon hard screen protector on it? icon_question.gif
