QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 24 2013, 11:53 PM) if i were you i will get 35mm instead of 50mm, then you got the 17-55 2.8 right? that lens also good what got VR and constant aperture, you only lose 1 stop of light while your ISO and VR + slow shutter speed can compensate with that |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 25 2013, 12:39 AM) dont always bokeh bokeh only, small aperture can take dramatic potraiture tooQUOTE(Agito666 @ Jul 25 2013, 12:45 AM) https://www.facebook.com/NikonGirlsThailand https://www.facebook.com/NikonGirls that nikon girls thailand punya cover picture not bad ![]() QUOTE(ifer @ Jul 25 2013, 08:53 AM) are you from kuala lumpur? those outing nice ar? i see photogs to model ratio is like 2323534645342:1nikon club malaysia told me that they have outing to cater for the users but surprisingly, the kl users couldn't be bothered about it. i think they rather spend time online talking gears or lepak in a shopping centre or lepak in a car getting stuck in a traffic jam. whereas for other states like kedah, terengganu and kelantan and even penang, the crowd could be overwhelming at times... do check out nikon club malaysia's website. they organise workshops and outing frequently |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 26 2013, 07:38 PM) maybe picture sharpness? bt doesnt matter cz it's so cheap. then you will be wasting your battery powerwhy not just shoot flash direct towards the reflector? (dno work or not la haha) QUOTE(Silverfire @ Jul 26 2013, 07:44 PM) why ar? but i see the fabric is quite close to umbrella is it because of the shape? |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 27 2013, 02:40 AM) i figured out one thing, if we tie up the flash gun at car number plate, put it in slave mode (in nissin is called digital TTL slave i dno bout others), then when AES fire flash, this flash will oso fire. so cant see our number plate d mah cz overexposed..lol! your flash will get stolen in no time and how do you mount it? the vibration from the car can probably kill the flash best method is to install a retractable cover that can cover your number plate when you approach AES, and you can trigger the cover by manually pressing a switch inside the car, so far i dont see anyone offer this kind of service and no one did this best way to avoid AES is dont use that particular road or just driver slower la This post has been edited by amduser: Jul 27 2013, 08:50 AM |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 27 2013, 09:24 AM) the AES in jalan ipoh sometime flashes for no reason somemore you can just spray black paint to the lens then it wont function anymore, but make sure that is no other CCTV monitoring the AES when you do it |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 27 2013, 10:37 AM) If you trying to overcome the sunlight... not sufficient power, most likely required those portable strobes. if let's say it is not outside sunlight but indoor no window with tungsten light like ballroom?QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 27 2013, 10:42 AM) not shoot through..i mean the flash will hit the reflector, then reflector reflects light back to the subject. i did that before, it take a lot of trying to get the angle of reflection right, and of course you need more power to bounce it off the reflector (silver/gold side), IMO it is good if you want to reduce the area the flash hit but depends on your reflector shape and size i guessportable strobes? wat is that? |

QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Jul 28 2013, 10:11 PM) Ive watched that video too... Actually both 24-70 and 50 prime are on my list... But i plan to go for 24-70 first... i dont think you will need that 50mm after you get 24-70, unless it is 50mm 1.4gQUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 28 2013, 10:32 PM) Wah, plenty of space for i'm not using SSD, too expensive for me Just kiddin! Well, like they say, once you go SSD, there is no turning back Buy cheap netbook for torrenting, save electricity, no lights, eco "friendly" I have a 24-70 and a 50 F1.8. Although the 24-70 is a really good lens, it sure is heavy haha. Don't say I no warn you When you already have the 24-70, then there's no real need for the 50 F1.8 already, better use that money for a 85mm F1.8 instead still staying with my desktop running on core i5, 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD + 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM laptop HDD, GTX 560Ti, and of course my 31" LCD TV Laptop is Sager NP8662, 500GB HDD, laptop running 24/7 for torrenting and download desktop mainly for gaming, video and pictures viewing/editing |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 28 2013, 11:04 PM) Wah, you have some serious rigs man LOL the graphic has been under utilized these days since i'm not playing graphic-heavy gamesNo worries, you could always throw in an SSD when budget allows. The performance gained is really phenomenal, try to believe Woah.... I don't know much about desktops, but looks really powerful haha Your "lights" = different level already haha... I thought you were referring to normal keyboard backlits After using FF for some time, I think its better to have a mirrorless for not-so-important-stuffs haha... back pain like hell No rush, take it slow and slowly save money (and your back) XD Love the 2nd shot, really got holy feel QUOTE(gunzerdude @ Jul 28 2013, 11:18 PM) Lols, last time my desktop facing my bed directly, rig light+keyboard light+modem light+speaker light confirm noneed sleep i hold D4 for 5 mins then switch back to my D5100 i cant feel any weight for a while True, I tried using D4 + 200mm F2G combo handheld, cannot tahan at all even for a minute, too front heavy. |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Aug 5 2013, 09:55 PM) Very attractive eyes, I love cats, but dunno where can I find good-looking ones (apart from the two that keep on making prawns near my house which is too far away for me to photograph XD) in dark area their eyes will be glowing, the roundness is depends on the breed of the catEh, I though cat eyes are round in dark areas only? |
