1) provider advertise because of their capability
2) user pay more and expect for service as advertise.

It's just some people abusing it that affect other user in the same location. Even it's being unmetered the connection is still shared so they should cap/suspend the one that using (abusing) like 100GB++ or 1TB++ traffic per month or the easier method just limit the unmetered plan with 10mbps connection so it will not affect other user and all of their infrastructure. Maxis FUP is just not brilliant.

But my friend gave me a NTU SG proxy to connect to. So, I can happily login to FB all the time. In another word, you will need VPN for FB.
