Tried on mine Samsung PVR, still with the same firmware after the update. Guess is just that day when you performed the manual update Astro are doing some testing on their new firmware.

how did u all know about these special keys for force update?

and is there any page I can refers to.. such as Technical Specs.. Features..
secret/key codes...special functions ..hacking section..etc etc... brows.gif drool.gif

I don't see any info from 1st page though..

Can see in my first post..i actually really dont care about the UI, but changes are still better. For some reason i had some problem that my info blank for all channels..tv guide also empty, so cant really use the PVR function. I called astro support to report, and she teach me to do the auto update thingy..wallah, finish update, came this new UI, bugs also fixed. If not for the case, i also wouldnt know. For some reason, i tried on another, dont get the same result. Anyone from astro can clarify this?

for certain decoder only? I think they accidentally released the Beta version which still has bugs as you stated bro.
