Yes,you are right...i was switching to umobile from celcom first 38 plan,but now this is more worst than celcom...Now even can't received and send message through whatsapp...when call their cs,they can told u no pp complain about this issue

actually dealers SHOULD charge the advance access fee first during registration and explained it before sign up
Our normal practice for the charges as below
for new numbers, we MUST charge 1 month advance on the spot of signing up
for MNP, normally dealers won't charge first or RM 10 only for the cost of sim card because the MNP process might fail, so they also not explaining anything about advance access fee.
But i do charge on both situation because my successful rate for MNP is 99%

2. a lot of method to check data usage

a. download apps My U Mobile, key in the number and password, can track easily
b. connect the wifi, login the gateway (192.168.8.1 for huawei, 192.168.0.1/ .1.1 for zte ) , using the USSD send *118*2*3#
c. sms thru gateway or sim card.
d. check with CRM system if u got dealer access

Im recently having issue with 2g data connection in selangor and putrajaya. I ve tested with another phone and problem still persist since 27th october 12pm. Calls and sms still go through though. 3h and lte works fine. Anyone else notice thjs? Is umobile intentionally shutting down their 2g data network? Or their unable to repair their 2g network in time.

guys, im using the power plan right now and have accumulated to RM90 in my credit. anyway for me to use off the credit? i always finish the free 1GB on the 25th day... so no point for me to reload internet also.

i hardly use phone call or sms.

and umobile may have an interesting other option soon too
