If your list of friends = memphiz, Deimos, alex, etc then I think you will continously see purchases. The last list of purchases from memphiz entirely blocked the display of friends activity on my mobile Steam sweat.gif

How does Steam Wallet works? I added in $5 into my account a few days back. Then bought a few more games during the sales using my CC.

Now my wallet is suddenly $0.00. What gives? I've emailed Steam support awaiting answer but it's almost 24hrs and yet to hear from them

you must have used your steam wallet instead of cc?

or

a game you bought say like $10, steam will deduct $5 from your steam wallet and charge the extra $5 from your credit card

Normally, they will deduct from wallet 1st..
If the amount is greater than wallet amount, only then it will topup the balance using ur cc..
