u guys love your 16" R3 rims or you prefer 17" rims? is the R3 rims really light?

just contemplating whether to upscale from the stock 16" or just buy the R3 16". in design terms R3 16" looks better than R3 17".therefore if upscaling i'd go for TE37SL 17".

so why is it better to stick with 16"?

Guys, any tips on how to increase top speed for Neo CPS Auto? Mine can only reach 170 km/h.  Not that I always speeding up to 170 km/h but I really wish it can go more than that 

Can't find roads that long enough for me to reach that speed and I don't have balls of steel to keep speeding more than 5-10 mins  You using 15 inch right? Maybe that's the reason you can achieve 180 km/h. I have changed to R3 ECU+R3 exhaust+Manifold but still can't reach the desire top speed

my car has been stuck at the workshop for a week since it broke down (that whole plate got destroyed - crack and broken)

that plate broke on your car too?

just wondering.. are you using some sort of lightened crank pulley
a friend told me that it could be due to the crankshaft being slightly misaligned coz of the pulley
i.e. pulley off balanced n goyang the whole crankshaft thus breaking the plate

im using the works lcp which has no damper of any sort

normally for your neo, which brand coolant (for radiator) you guys using?

im thinking of replacing my car tyres. been surveying ps3, t1r and victra ipro because all of the shops are near to my house and the prices are not much different from other shops.

i dont mind buying ps3 but the problem is i rarely drive my neo. only during long journey i will drive it. most of the time the car will be in the garage collecting dust. lol.. last year i drove it less than 7k km. i guess it will be a waste if i buy ps3 and after 3 years and roughly below 25k km mileage i need to change the tyres again.

what kind of tyre do you guys think that worth the money for my conditions? lol....

I've read about G Car Care and Dori-Dori but they seem to keep pushing you to modify more instead of repairing probs, i might be wrong tho.

Anyways, few issues are as:
(i) When I do a hard left turn, there is something scraping at my rear which I cant identify it.
(ii) Whenever I press clutch theres ticking/clicking sound.
(iii) Requires undercarriage/suspension parts checking/retightening.

But the difference between t1r and ps3 only rm10 for 205/50/16.
and the performance is far apart, no?

What about victra ipro? Is it good?

what can i say is totally worth it.
paddle feel more responsive.. more throaty sound from engine and exhaust.. like more air coming in.
engine feels lighter..

Currently looking at Supercircuit exhaust system. R3 too expensive la bro. A bit like iPhone; same spec with other brands but more expensive because of the logo.

ECU might be the last one to be upgraded. After exhaust, probably will be air filter, suspension, tyres, etc.

The only exterior 'mod' i'd done to the car is tint the headlights and change the plate num. LOL. Don't know what else i can do since the R3 bodykit package is already good looking.

I know bro. The price gap are actually so far away for some brands/shops. I don't mind changing the exhaust system at some 'uncle' shop. As long the quality is good.

I was actually looking for the R3 carbon fibre air box. But proton told me that they'd stopped production on that already. 2nd hand prices are also ridiculous. So might be going for K&N

Suspension is not in the near future. Might be end of the year bonus project hehe Currently interested in FTuned because some of my friends are already on that and the reviews are quite good.

Tyre is a bit tricky. Not a lot of brands are selling 195/50 R16 like the stock Conti MC5. Might have to change the size, and do it at the same time im changing the suspension.

Really bro 4-1? Most shops also tell me the same thing. Neo CPS, manual also. Better with 4-1. But im actually looking for better acceleration instead of higher top speed. And from my research through Mr. Google, 4-2-1 with s-flow piping is better suited for that.

Haha might be true regarding the air box. Damn the R3 CF airbox is nice. Some fella quoted me more than 1k for used item. Mental.

205/45/r16 is one im looking at. Might be getting the Michelin PS3 if that time still got money left. Yoko Advan too hardcore for me hehe

Ah i left the brakes in my list. I'll give that a look around after the exhaust is done. I'm currently on 100% city drive, max speed reached 120kmph (very rarely) with lots of traffic lights and potholes. Hence my target of acceleration. Comfort nvm because long distance (back to Kelantan during raya) is done with a super floaty Naza Ria
