just done oiling and changed the filter with the oem air filter, i think the last owner din even service the filter, the filter is all black and dusty sweat.gif sweat.gif

changed to simota drop in, went for a short testing trip, the low rpm pickup was noticeably improved, the intake sounds diff whn idle as well as stepping accel (i opened window just to see if it sounds diff)~

overall I would say money well spent on this lil goody~ thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

actually been seeing some, maybe many auto users changed their transmission to manual, is it legal? and will this action affects the resell value of the car itself?

atf is the last resort lah... laugh.gif

best if use singer oil. First, wash the filter with luke warm water + a bit soap (dishwashing soap)

then pat it dry or you can even leave it under the hot sun to dry naturally. (I use hairdrier at low setting). Do not use airgun.

when the filter is completely dry, then picit the oil on each "fin". let the filter absorb the oil, wipe off any excess oil then plonk back.

legal....just need to be inspected and endorsed by JPJ once done.

Manual cars generally has lower RV, not to mention new manual cars are cheaper than auto to begin with.
