QUOTE(bansai @ Aug 19 2013, 10:30 PM) Watch norwich vs everton... baines and fellaini were damn average players for that game... To be honest, Afroman has set his sights on United already, he's definitely not playing at his full potential. Something like someone is not giving their whole heart. Baines had an average game as you've said, not sure if both of them feels the same but Fellaini wants to play for Moyes.

The main reason United went in for a cheap bid is because they want to unsettle both players, knowing that Baines is worth less than what Everton value him. Fellaini is worth £20mil tops, and Baines £15 million at maximum. A bid around £35mil would allow Everton to consider because everyone knows that Baines is not worth that much judging from his age, and contract length. £28mil for both is pretty understandable from Ed Westwood because he feel that Fellaini, now without a release clause would cost cheaper and Baines would be available for £12 mil only. Logically speaking, Fellaini would be a great addition to our squad but Baines is unnecessary since we have Evra, Fabio and Buttner ( ).

QUOTE(Marcus94 @ Aug 20 2013, 10:13 AM) I doubt, is Welbeck really that good? Why he can gt to play on field despite Rooney? Hernandez? Zaha? Take Welbz homegrown status into consideration. He graduated from United's academy, worked hard for where he is today. Frankly speaking, Welbz is a decent player. His running off the ball is useful at times, especially against Madrid in last season's CL where he exploited their loopholes. Although his finishing lacks spark lately, I saw an improvement in his performance against Swansea. About time that he regain his confidence, he needed it. Blame the shoe. Hypervenom

Zaha is a winger, I personally don't think his work rate is as much as players like Clev, Welbz or Ando. Attack wise, good but still a raw talent. Pretty much a baby British Ronaldo in the making. If nurtured properly, he will develop into a world best.
Rooney-wise, 2 seasons ago, very hardworking, always defending and attacking. Unbelievable work rate. Lately his fitness has gone downwards, making him lazy and slow. But he still have that special creativity in him, his vision is still there. Work hard Wayne, you will be back at no time.

As we've discussed earlier, Woodward comes from a financial/banking/accounting background hence the stingy-ness and unwilling to overspend on players. Agreed with some, I'm beginning to doubt his abilities as well, but my stance on Moyes is still firm. Hidup Moyes

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Aug 22 2013, 06:42 PM) Sahin didn't play well in his first season on loan at Liverpool, doubt he will be any better if he arrives in England for the second time. He had a great season with Dortmund last term, but Sahin should stay at Madrid to fight for places instead.

Now I shall steal yours QUOTE(JohnnyBeGud @ Aug 22 2013, 10:43 PM) That Delph fella from Aston Villa is quite gooding yo. He can be used as a direct replacement for Carrick IMHO. What he lack in passing finesse, he make up in agility, stamina and close ball control. But his biggest asset is his positioning, just like Carrick. I don't think Villa gonna part with him with the season already starting, but I see him as a future target when Carrick cannot play every week anymore. Anyone know how old is he? Fabian Delph? He's 23. A simple wiki search would help. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Delph

9 days before the window shuts. Desperate times for Ed and Arsene to sign at least one player, especially for Arsene due to the backlash from Gooners faithful. However, the pressure on Ed is not as bad as Arsenal's because our squad is very much the same squad that won us the title last season, even if we don't sign anyone, I believe we can still challenge for the title, as we've said before, the challenging first 5 fixtures are vital to our progress. I remember last year when we won against all of our title rivals before Christmas, which is why we won the title. I believe if we can do the same, I predict a good season again... Our fixtures are not much different from last season just that we play our rivals earlier this season. Good testing for Moyes.
Positively, a signing would be great, if not, I wouldn't mind either. Our youths comprising of Cole, Januzaj, Zaha and Lingard are really promising and believe me, when they step up their game, you'll see a different United on the field. At the moment, our game lacked pace, probably due to some old guards on field, but the most importantly is winning games, results are everything.
Not as long as budakhijau posts thou :p

QUOTE(kael90 @ Aug 23 2013, 06:09 PM) Too many transfer rumours until I do not know which sources are real or fake ones. Suddenly Modric the next day Ozil. Which is why we should get hyped up over speculations. Just treat it as a leisure read.

QUOTE(nshady @ Aug 23 2013, 10:22 PM) Modric. QUOTE Mourinho insisted he intends on keeping the playmaker, saying: 'He is a player we all like and want to keep. We want more quality in the team, not less. We want to add quality to what we have. Juan is not a player we want to lose.' Hmm hard to convince then?

More Ronaldo drillz.. inb4 Zenix Man United Close In On Sensational £77m Deal To Re-Sign Cristiano RonaldoQUOTE United legend could head back to Old Trafford with Spurs star set to replace him at Bernabeu.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo could be set to make a sensational return to his old club Manchester United, after it emerged that he has become unsettled by Gareth Bale’s arrival at the Bernabeu.
With Bale’s £94million world record move from Tottenham all but confirmed, inevitable question marks will be raised over Ronaldo’s role in the team, as the Welshman is arguably competing for the same position in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven.
The summer-long saga surrounding Bale has coincided with Ronaldo’s future at the club coming under further scrutiny, with United linked on a few occasions with attempting to bring him back to the club, whilst big-spending French giants PSG and Monaco have also shown a strong interest in the 28-year-old. http://dailysport.info/man-united-close-in...stiano-ronaldo/Seems like old news but then again, they always recycle news these days.

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Aug 24 2013, 01:54 PM) As much as i love Ronny to be around 77m can be better spent elsewhere... It's like we're helpin RM to fund Bale's move. not worthy after Ronny helped 'em to generate much $$$ then they're sellin him back with 3m less d price they paid for him few years back? it's a no to me... Lets not forget the commercial revenue Ronaldo will rake in for us, beneficial over the years. Without Ronaldo, do you think RM will be the biggest sports franchise in sports? Nah. Ronaldo is like Beckham for them, he sells the jerseys. For us, apart from the goals and poster-boy stuff that he usually brings in, Ronaldo will indeed sell more jerseys than anyone in the league. It will definitely benefit us both commercially and financially. Win-win for both. The happiest party would be Nike. That would happen only if the deal materialize. Otherwise, it would just be another round of coffee-table talk. Sigh

Bale can play LB/LW/LM or even CF. He excels better at left wing, which is being occupied by Ronaldo. Either way, one would have to sacrifice their preferred position, I believe if RM does retain Ronaldo, he will play forward instead of wing.

Doubt we will sign Di Maria because our right flank consist of Zaha, Nani, Bebinho, Valencia etc. No slot for Di Maria.
