For the moment I thought I was in Citeh's thread tongue.gif

Proud of Fraizer Campbell, former United youth. Is it me or Joe Hart seems to be losing confidence already? He's been rather shaky lately hmm

not kaotim oledi ka this Bale transfer saga? isnt RM going to announce it 2moro?

Heard it is stalled, apparently. Spurs are considering 'other' offers which widely suggest that United are the 'other' bidder. But chances of Bale joining them are roughly 90% already. His heart is set for Madrid, I cannot see him going anywhere else. whistling.gif

Good first half, attacked really well at times. Good to see Rooney playing his part.

Welbz squandered a few chances, could've played better. Defensively quite sound, just lacked the cutting edge, crosses before Young came in were bad.

Rooney stays. He must.

Agreed. Be it 1-0 or 2-1, a win is a win. We won quite a number of 1-0's last season, as long as 3 points is in the bag rclxm9.gif

we should buy Benzema, Di Maria & Ozil FFS!!!

Sorry, Football Manager is under the Gamers Hideout section.

Lets talk realistically here alright? Where would we fit Benzema, Di Maria and Ozil all together? And if you think Real will sell 3 players in one window just to fund Bale's transfer, you are dead wrong.

sorry i think i posted this in the correct forum, those 3 are up for sale as rumoured, plus why not anyway, we are sorta lacking in midfield anyway, kagawa was bought and not utilized properly anyway, these 3 can be tested, im entitiled to my opinion(no matter how retarted it sounds) anyway so kiss it dude wink.gif
*
Rumored. There, you've said it. I don't recall RM putting up 3 players for sale.

Yeah, no one said that you're not entitled to your own opinions. But realistically, it will never happen. Go on, continue dreaming.

Rooney's tackle against Chelsea was a clear example of how tackling should be done these days. That was a perfectly executed tackle, grab the ball, pass forward and counter. How many forwards can actually execute that sort of tackle now? Not many.

Wazza is back!

Correct. Pot 1 consist of Bayern Munich, United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Arsenal , Porto and Benfica.

Interestingly, non of the Italian teams are considered for the first pot. brows.gif

the way i see it...with bale going to real...spurs signing quality player...its a transition period...same goes to chelsea, man city n us...we hav new manager coming in...tho the team squad is almost the same n add few new player which we done nothing yet...the idea of playing from new manager is still in transition...after 2 & 3 game...city got defensive problem...last time the play zonal marking corner...now they struggle to man mark vs cardiff...chelsea under mourinho still dun hav striker that he prefer...which make signing etoo is a transition as well...how do they play...i bet etoo is a quality signing as well...maybe age catch up his pace...but his hold up play n let their burgeoning attacking talent to bomb forward need time to build...if etoo can play that role...we on the high note...#rooneytostay...based on moyes line up...i think it is fergie team that on the field added high intensity press, more solid n high work rate team been put on...which i luv to watch a lot...bring on liverpool...come on u man utd...

City's man-to-man marking doesn't quite work as good as Mancini's zonal marking. Which Cardiff exploited, twice? smile.gif We're lucky to have 4 forwards, can be used to rotate when needed, but I miss Chica the most. He is that typical fox-in-the box forward. Get well soon Chica! Hands off Spurs!

Free Shinji! Dortmund fans try to bring Man United star Kagawa back home

QUOTE
Borussia Dortmund supporters have launched a tongue-in-cheek campaign demanding Manchester United 'free' Japanese star Shinji Kagawa.
The creative midfielder has found it hard going at Old Trafford since arriving in June 2012 from the Bundesliga side, partly due to injury.
He is yet to feature for United this season bar a seven-minute cameo in the Community Shield, but, having featured in the Confederations Cup for his country, may be a little out of step with the squad.

Supporters of the movement use the hashtag #freeshinji and there are various pictures and even a song that has been created for him.
Kagawa is still adored at Dortmund and his former manager Jurgen Klopp spoke about him over the summer.
He told bundesliga.com: 'We still keep in touch. It's a bit difficult to speak with him directly, largely because his German hasn't dramatically improved while he's been in England. Talking to him on the phone isn't what you'd call a piece of cake.
'But I'm in regular touch with his interpreter, who's working in Nurnberg these days. And I often have a few words with Shinji's agent, Thomas Kroth, as well.
'Believe me, I'm always right in the picture about what the lad's up to.'

Sorry but I feel they are overreacting. Shinji is still finding fitness after returning from the ConFed Cup. Geesh. doh.gif

A certain someone called hongchai888 tongue.gif Wonder what happened to him hmm

Anyway, our group is kinda tricky. Could go either way, but the trip to the Ukraine is the most tricky one, knowing the weather and artificial pitch with affect the players mentally and physically :/

Quite understandable coming from Ed's view.

He is was the one who brought in all the $ commercial revenues to the club before this that is why he does not have the tendency to 'overspend' on players. He is new to this, probably needs to get used to the fact that the players on the market are 'inflated'. Probably got a shock when he was told by Everton that it cost 50mil to sign both Baines and Fellaini.

From my point of view, Everton are willing to sell, just trying to coerce United to splash more than they've offered. Realistically, would a club reject 3 bids but still listen to offers? I find it funny that Everton are still listening to offers when they should say: DONT COME BACK BECAUSE WE ARE NOT SELLING. Nope. They didn't. So there is a chance that we might sign one or even both before the window shuts.

I did a little research on Anders Herrera. He was Atleti's best player, simply because he is quite versatile. As for Kaka, he's always a dream player to have in a team. Although he has lost a good amount of pace due to age, he is still Kaka. One of the player I always dreamt of having donning the red of United. But then again, I seriously doubt he will join us. Pity that he ended up all these years warming the bench in Madrid.

3 days til the window shuts. Plenty of optimism ahead. Let's pray for the best.

guys,

just a little bit out of topic ... will 1 years old baby allowed into old trafford stadium for a football match?
*
Hmm I believe it will be bad for the baby. The stadium is loud, and babies dislike loud atmosphere.

Can I be the baby instead? tongue.gif

Word of advice to you when posting in this thread, don't use the word 'manu'. It is either Man United, United or MU. No 'manu'.
