No custom kernel, i think its related to those system data i back up...
After i restore all system data and restart then it wont start, but when i only restore apps it work fine sweat.gif

Nandroid backup/restore whole rom + apps + data
TB backup/restore apps only.

i dont recommend restoring system data/apps even if it works. tongue.gif its a very uncertain things..

Backing up using nandroid is very useful whenener u wanna flash or do somethings uncertain..it also helps u to save time actually..when a flash gone bad, u can just restore immediately thru recovery..rather than flashing a Rom again and need to re-setup your phone..

So far I havent had any issue with nandroid and have confidence with it..just my experience^^

Seems like many of u experienced faulty issue.
When I bought my red HTC one from Satu Gadget in last two weeks.
I was surprisingly the gap issue has been solved.
The condition I would said is good.
And of course gratitude for the useful testing fuction *#*#3424#*#* provided in post 1 which is really helpful.

I think because Red is abit late come so they manage to fix it first then release

Ya, I think so.
I think they fixed it before it's officially launch in Msia.

Here's some pics of my Red HTC One.
As you can see, the gap has been perfectly solved for new batch.

Beautiful red. Good to hear that HTC has significantly improved in terms of quality control.
