Yes, it is ALWAYS recommended to use an original charger bundled with the phone to charge it. For my HTC One previously, I only charge it with the bundled charger for battery safety and longevity.

Third party chargers are not recommended and everything might be okay by chance only. You never know when it's your day for your phone to go kaput. I remember back in the days where I tried using a third party charger to charge my BlackBerry Torch 9800 - every time the phone was charging, the touchscreen would act all weird registering touches when you are not touching it... don't tell me this is normal? lol

If I were you I will sell the S4. What's the point of keeping a phone that you don't like? Unless it's a gift from someone. Since S4 price dropped like crazy, better you sell it fast. Go and buy the red One

oh ya been notice them since pda ... it happen on a promo that i wanted smartphone so badly ,then i line up for incredible S from Digi ,then i won one s by taking picture from htc events ... then i bought htc one

honestly, HTC One is an awesome phone, especially if the design is your cup of tea. some ppl don't like the design/

performance wise, i couldn't ask for more, running flawlessly in my day by day usage.. the 4mp camera gives better picture than some 8mp camera phone especially the 2012 model, i mean, 4mp camera doesn't mean it that bad, but of course not the best, but really good in low light condition..

the only thing that i wish for more is juice… thats all.

If battery like Ascend Mate it will be perfect

In the 5 inch class , my choice is definitely S4 not HTC One. Next will be Xperia Z and sadly HTC 1 ranks last for me
Don't flame me - that is based on my experience using all these 3 phones. And don't turn this post of mine into any debate. My needs/taste are definitely different from many of you guys. What I can say HTC1 is still a good phone though is never my preferred choice.
HTC 1 only great features is its great speakers quality ( but I hate the look of the speakers and placement which looks like a lastminute placement on top; I'd have prefer the speakers to be hidden behind the case like Butterfly). And I prefer HTC Butterfly design over the HTC1 anytime.

totally understood uncle, at the end of the day it is more to personal preferences, like how you prefer bigger screen phone while other or most ppl might say it is too big for a phone..

hey i managed to update the Mate to B217 already… i really wish 4.2 come soon for this device.. i started to like it for some purposes, but still prefer HO for a phone.. still haven't get a chance to send my HO to service centre.

Just sent in to Times Square but those counter staffs at Time Square in one word is HOPELESS. Both of them has little knowledge about the phones. One male chap there cannot even talk properly in English and I pity him struggling to converse with me. At the end of it , I told him to talk in Mandarin. He had to go to back of the office to keep asking for answers . The other lady is equally bad seeing how she talk to another customer. The older staffs at Plaza Berjaya are so much more knowledgeable and professional ( and looks well educated too unlike those 2 at Times Square) - you talk to them, they give you confidence. I wonder what happen to them ?? Or try Kelana SIS Center and was told service is better there
