I like what was mentioned in that final paragraph in Tom's Hardware review . It was EXACTLY what happened when the APES guys delivering my rig back, were there with me and saw what UltraHD/UHD/4K resolution gaming is all about. And I quote:
QUOTE
But if you have a friend with more money than patience who can’t help himself, definitely spend as much time as possible gaming at his place. Sitting in front of 3840x2160 will absolutely wreck 1920x1080 for you—even if you’re used to playing across three screens.
Cursory glance at Precision X, Crysis 3 I get 50-60fps compared to 35-45fps on last beta.
On Metro LL, no improvement although I get higher maximum framerate. The average remained the same.
At least my 4K display doesn't go crazy when switching to 4K60 on the new WHQL compared to the last beta. In fact, had to revert to 326.41 coz 326.80 gave a blank display.
yes 4k resolution is very very high n super clear but even single 780 u still get choppy graphics, no 120/144hz gaming.. dont even need to say about the price
hi sifus, according to this article the previous zotac gtx 780 amp! get updated in the bios.
Now it stands as the 2nd fastest GTX 780 after Lightning.
The Lightning is not the fastest GTX 780 out there. It clocks in at 980 MHz (1033 MHz boost) only, compared to ZOtac GTX 780 AMP! which clocks in at 1006 (1059 MHz boost). The only 780 that I can think of which is as fast is Galaxy's 780 HOF Edition. After the BIOS fix for the AMP!, I would say definitely this is hands down one of the fastest and value-for-money GTX 780 that one can get here in Malaysia.

At the end of the day, #1, #2, #3 fastest cards are within 2-5 FPS difference. Usually not enough to be a determining factor to pick the card. Consider the whole package, cosmetics, pcb design (reference/non-reference), warranty, availability, pricing.
It's odd that the Palit Jetstream and Super Jetstram received underwhelming popularity. They fixed the noise issue and is within 2-3 FPS compared to the fastest cards. Its also a very well priced card. Perhaps it's the color?
