now the original 1 cannot scroll dy the mouse is still looks so new.....

hey fellow Razer user , i am using Mamba 2012 , so i get straight to the point , is it me or is Mamba 2012 have battery charging problem ? because i always left my mouse charging at the dock while my PC turned off and my Mamba is set to off , and after i come back like for 6 hours it only charge abit , and also it hardly charge when i plug it in the wire while using the mamba in off mode , please advice .

finally i bought the tartarus before i damaged my lappie keyboard. hehehe...but one thing, the damn base wasnt flat and wobble a lil. i read some reviews also saying the same thing. damn razer quality. and i got pwned bad in FPS, cos need to remaster my finger movement memory to the tartarus. the spacebar "button" is positioned too close to what i'd like.

zzz....and here i thought Razer is a good product , seems like the way i see it , Razer is just another overpriced product just like apple , now my Mamba 2012 is just sitting there like a dumb f*** waiting for it to charge , but anyway i recommend you guys Roccat , now i am using Kone [+] and i must say , theres less buggy software and much more reliable then my Razer mamba

it is a dumb product. my first was a copperhead, it double clicked in less than 6 months. then i avoided razer for soooooooo many years. only now no choice, need a keypad and only tartarus fits the range. logi's too large.

There is a light indicator on the left hand side of Mamba2012.
During you plug the cable or put on dock for charging, if the single LED blinking, then the mouse battery is not charging.
So, you need to undock/remove cable and remove the battery and put it back.
If it's charging, the LED will move from bottom to the top. There is 3LEDs indicator.

If your mouse behave like normal, no such problem, please proceed to RMA this mouse.
Since, probably you get a defective battery/mouse.

P.S. : I'm using mamba2012 for more than a year.. Just from experience.

Those double-click can be easily fixed by replace the mouse switches or you RMA it.
Just don't complain only this brand got such keypad, you buy yet you complain.

See the picture, if fully charged, the LED will have 3 bars. The 3LEDs will just stay there without moving.

It takes very long time for fully charged. By cables, took lesser time compared to dock.
Above 5 hours in my current situation, and the battery life is shorter compared to last time.

Blinking wheel is not a choice to select in synapse...
The blinking wheel may indicate charging, but you still need to see the LED on the left side to confirm it.
Last time, I thought I did charge because I saw it blinking wheel without seeing the LED on left, so I left it overnight. During morning, actually still no battery.

Honestly, this mouse mamba 2012 do have some bugs regarding the charging.
Most of the time, you unplug the cable and battery and put it back will solve it.

Since the battery life become shorter, now I plugged in the cable to mouse and use it.
Still it's a good mouse even in wired version.

Ya, charging from the Razer cable itself is the fastest.

Your samsung plug able to fit the mamba2012?

I tested with other similar usb like above picture (ps3 usb, other usb) are not able to fit the mamba2012 because the plastic housing of the usb is big.
You can try yours and see whether can plug in or not.
So, I just use the dedicated cable of mamba2012 since other cables not able to fit.

Logitech G430 or Razer Kraken 7.1? Cant decide

Ya, definitely low quality. Since, I can fix by myself, then I don't mind it will double clicks after the warranty periods.
It definitely using cheap quality mouse switches. But you can buy a quality and replace by yourself.

I don't think you can expect anything from a membrane keypad, it's still will fail.
For RM200+ membrane keypad , definitely not worth the money, because it's membrane.

This is just idiotic. Just because something's break down doesn't give you a right to go around complaining like a damsel in distress. Or even worse, accusing people as fan boys. The latest Logitech G700s is an absolute piece of crap. Every brand has their issues. You hit the jackpot with a reliable G9 so just be grateful.

Btw, it's membrane keypad. What do you expect from Razer. You already know and you yourself have been avoiding Razer for years. So live with your decision.

the same can be said to you. i just point out the razer qc sucks. do you see my whole page of complains? not really. my initial post was to agree to another poster that the quality has real issues. you can find lots of double click issue after that batch. mine is not a one off case. I am using another G9X for a year and still no problem, if it does, i'm gonna let you know. i agree every brand has its problems. it is up to us consumers to notify others not to fall into marketing. but razer just has too much of them. but to defend a brand out of nothing is a fanboy's act. Logitech was put into the picture as a comparison. I would try other brand of mice if the G9X could just die...maybe corsair or SS or even Roccat.

I decided to buy the razer keypad because, it is just a keypad, since my dilemma came from bad mouse experience. and to both of you, since when i complain about membrane? i dont give a fk about mechanical keys. i said it wobbles...as in the base is not flat. what that has to do with membrane? my membrane keyboard lives for 7 years and counting. is that another jackpot? I encourage people to DIY if problem persists when their hardware is old..but if crap happens and happen again when it came back from RMA (even a new unit, new batch)...then the QC is really in question. If razer improves its QC, it would only benefit us, the users. There's no good reason to keep defending of what you bought.

First of all, me and quovadis aren't defending Razer. I'm not very fond of Razer either, especially their headsets.

Second, live with your decision. If it keeps on breaking down it will so simple as to not but Razer ever again. You ALREADY know their QC is crap. You ALREADY avoided it for years. You also know it's pricey and you've faced issues before. But you still buy it. So live with your decision to do so.

Third, notifying is one issue. But I have problems with you straight going out accusing other as fan boys. So if I disagree several of your point, that makes me a fan boy? Don't think so. We could have easily kept this civil, try to find oUT how are we gonna fix this, see if any others have ideas on how to solve it, maybe get with distributors and see if a collective complaint can get somewhere. Fourth, you think Razer gives a Shit? Baseline is cheap manufacturing cost, maximum profits. Same goes for every company.

Fifth, we said mechanical because more often than not custom mechanical pads are solidly built. Very rarely do custom boards have failures.
