Yes FD can compare to property, but not necesarily better and in my opinion, property investment is better than FD.

Anyway as banker who wants to giv advice, FED affects ur mortgage rates comprende? Especially the one with the BLR thing. No need to think about money supply la, KLCI laa, Exchange rates laa...KISS methodology, Keep It Simple Stupid. Dont make it complicated. Oh yes running out of ideas to put me down, can always go for my English.

In addition to what kidmad said about REITs, there is a business model done by the Islamic banks in the middle east, where they buy houses in bulks and then sell it to the public at a higher price to comply with shariah. So basically banks dont lend but invest in normal buy low and sell high. Dunno how it is done, like tenure or the rates being charged. Malaysian banks dont dont do that, so i dunno how the thing works. Dont think they rent it out, i mean the middle east banks dont rent it out.

Hahaha let them be lah. The DDD losers can think what they want about me.

Three years ago bought 2 apartments worth around 400k each, now worth around 600k each. And each can be rented more than 2k full furnished and i didnt pay anything during construction, just downpayment 10%. I win either way. Coz the DDD camp dont have the balls to do it and now keep on talking cock.

And i did it because i dont listen to useless BS doomsday comments from DDD camp. The DDD camp can keep dreaming about market crash till they all ddd for real.

The first prop i bought was base on necessity and wasnt greed. The second one was an opportunity that i could not pass, dont think it was greed. The opportunity was there so i took it.
