LOL...yes RV is not the problem. But a few years down the road when u want to sell the car to 2nd hand car dealer, the dealer oso dont wanna buy a Ford from you .

So its not about RV already.Even u throw at dealer cheap price oso dealer dont wanna take. Cuz the chances of dealer reselling the Ford is very very low.

Lol.. I stated this b4 in some other thread and I going to say it again...

If buying a car and always focusing on RV and not making much lost, then don't buy a new car in the first place.. Your current car can still take u to ur destination.. No losses.. Best.. rclxms.gif

I'm amused how people here have a crystal ball. Dealer won't take a Focus?

All from dealers.

And Ford is getting more and more popular.

Lol.. I still waiting for some pro come in and tell me what is the experience like driving a civic and how good/bad it is compare to others..

But, like u said earlier, people only care abt the RV..

And up till now, ppl still comment about RV regardless how much I stress out it is not the main concern over here.. rclxub.gif

Indeed they have a crystal clear ball... But it is about past facts that is mayb 10 years ago whereby how T and H dominates the car market in Malaysia..

But the crystal ball to the future, still polishing I guess.. sweat.gif

if u want a fun car, then civic and focus are in this category. cerato definitely out.

focus handling, technology specs should be better than civic.

how about peugeot408 turbo? powerful and also good in conering, can be considered, but just reliable issue only.

I dont know if you dont understand ,but yes its not about the RV here.

The issue is ,if the dealer doesnt want to buy ur Ford,or Kia or Hyundai, who the hell are u going to sell it to?

Do you understand my point? My point was never about RV.

Even u offer him well below market value, the dealer wont want to buy ur car,so HOw?

Maybe some people just have that excess of cash to spend on a nice ride?
A lot of people considers RV because their financial is not really very very stable. To be on the safe side, stick with brands with good RV. I understand that logic.

But there are still people who have money to spend and want a ride worth the price. No need to think about resale.

So, if TS already said RV is not under consideration, why insist?

Yeah, I also don't understand it. He clearly states RV is not an issue.

And even if it were, it's a 10-20k price difference for a same year car. The older it gets the smaller the difference will be, and as time passes by RV will improve anyway. The Forte has a decent RV these days.

Anyway, Mamapapamsia insisted that even if the RV doesn't matter dealers won't take the Ford (well, even if so... put up an ad on Mudah and sell directly, can earn more because there's no dealer sitting in between). Then when I posted dealers who clearly did, he starts about RV again. Funny.

There was a forumer recently who desperately searched for a Focus. No demand? Yeah right.

@nagflar: Oh. I want that steering wheel. Leather... mhhh. But 5 seater only... otherwise good price. Aren't you looking to buy one?

Enough cash to not care about poor resale value, not enough cash to spend 150k more. doh.gif

Don't take risk on the Cerato, that car isn't cheap, money very hard to earn, so for safest buy would be Civic, Ford Focus is a very good car to drive, but in Malaysia not really nice to own, their service is very lousy because i went to the SC once!
