Sorry for asking, but how is the spacebar and modifier considered odd? It looks standard to me. Is it due to the smaller windows key compared to Ctrl & Alt?
*
On a row of keys (from left control to right control), it is 15 units in length.

Typical mech kb of ANSI layout is of 3x1.25, 6.25, 4x1.25.

On some rare case, we will encounter 1.5, 1, 1.5, 6, 1.5, 1, 1, 1.5. Those win keyless board may be using 7x long spacebar instead of 6.

In other words, any spacebar of non 6.25 is consider non standard (6/7 is acceptable on some conditions though) and we tend to avoid at all cost.

It's new I think, he just like to assemble. It matches the exact spec I was going to get assembled, red color with 55g clear switches.

wat do u mean hold distance?
as for spacebar size, it is standard size.
Shine 2 is about RM459 and Keycool 87 is about RM200 (excluding shipping)
so, definitely the ducky is much more solid in terms of build and everything smile.gif
at the moment i get a lot of double space when typing, i suppose i need to do some lubing but haven't done so yet.
*
Ekchelli, keycool's case is very damn solid, probably one of the most flex resistant tkl out there.

May be you are complaining against their stabilizers?

Double space? Caused by wobbly spacebar or faulty switches?

shocking.gif  Making me having second thought on getting it for $590 including shipping and Paypal fees.
kbdmod.com sells KMAC happy kit 380,000W
$340+Shipping($12)
$352 for the kit, not including anything other than PCB,Plate,Case

Switches (Clear): $50 for good measure
Stickers+Lube: $8 being cheap
Springs: $10
LED: $20
Stabilizer: $6

That's $446 so far, that leaves $144 for the following.

Assembly fees
ABS double shot DSA Retro keycaps
4% Paypal fees
Shipping from Korea
*
Wah, that's quite a margin of profit there.

May be one day I should also start selling mah Devlin thick ds which looks like the DSA Retro keycaps you stated...

Keeped it till today just incase I am getting some ergoboards like razer obweaver or kinesis which used uniprofile keycaps.

i wanna ask, wat is the difference between ducky shine 3 and ducky zero?
*
Completely different tier product.

One is designed to be the top tier while another is market entry.

Personally, I still suggest rosewill over ducky zero.

Also, just for your extra information, one is MIT while another MIC.

ya, u r right, its the stabilizer. thanks for clarifying biggrin.gif

wobbly and stucked spacebar, not faulty switch i think. i need to lube it to find out for sure.
*
Reseat, remount or even replace, do whatever you can to make it better. Don't let a stabilizer spoil the typing experience.

May be someone can start a bulk or mass order of costar stabilizer and wires from wasdkeyboards. Though most keyboards nowadays come with cherry stabilizer...

did you order the pink spacebar without keycool? I think bundled with your pink mods
*
I think he said that the spacebar is more warped than the default white spacebar, which a little surprised me that keycool actually having different mold for spacebar.

Do at the same time shall we?  laugh.gif

Can't check without disassemble the board.

Though, like I always suggest, if the keys are reversely mounted, then it had a high chance to be backlit-able.

I wonder if white POM available at Taobao? Or else get the Keycool white PBT but need to find blank spacebar replacement.
*
White POM is even more rare than black pbt.

The only white POM I ever came through is the KBC jelly POM. It is a little milky and translucent instead of bright white.

Regarding white pbt spacebar, keycool used to sell it seperately, nowadays not sure.

if you insist on rm300, then china boards are your only options.

if you can add another rm50+, there are boards like CM Storm Trigger.

If you ever plan to use aftermart keycaps, then avoid qf tk at all cost.
